Nope, not seen any TNS pizzas. Hoping they come up soon, and while I'm at the computer though - I'd like one in London when I'm there please TNS. :)

Has anybody ever forgotten to fill out the pay claim at the end of the questionnaire for TNS? I haven't been paid for one job, and I have a feeling that might be why...

I've got a few lined up for July but nothing special - mostly rubbish fees! Have a couple of shops that I'm excited about because I like the products and I quite fancy a "free" product as it were, but other than that...

Picked up a couple of travel agents ones from GR, but I've since realised that an ex-colleague of mine may work in one of them. She used to a long time ago, but not sure she still does. I might sneakily double check with her but I'll have to let GR know won't I if she still does as I'm not meant to know anyone.

Has anyone been in this situation before?

Just call the agency with-holding your number and ask for her by name -see what they say (and then "get cut off with a bad connection") but yes if she's still there you'll have to let GR know and they'll almost certainly deallocate it.

Yeah thats a good idea! Was thinking of facebooking her saying "Hey! Am going holiday-shopping this weekend, do you still work in *****?! Might pop in and say hello, see if you've got some good deals!"

I feel like such a fool for accepting it in the first place without realising - don't want to be messing GR around. Will find out asap though so that if she does still work there, they can find someone else to do it. Should have taken the location near to my work instead! Silly Holly!

does anyone know the distance that GR offer jobs from a given address (eg my home address is close to but not actually in a couple of town centres - do I have to list them seperately or would I get offered jobs there anyway).

    Thanks

I rang up and spoke to someone about this not long ago. It's best to use your 5 postcodes to locate shopping centres near you rather than your work address or a family members address as you're more likely to pick up jobs that way.

The lady I spoke to said that sometimes they'll restrict offering jobs to people within half a mile radius.

I still have my home address as one of my five, but have also listed the postcode of a shop in the middle of my local shopping centre. Ever since I did that, I've seen quite a few jobs pop up whereas before I had none!

Didn't want to post on the Alerts thread but I've just seen some released jobs come up on RE so don't know if it's worth checking wherever you are.

I'm glad you did-I got a Health Club nice and local -so no excuse not to shape up before my holiday now ;)

Anyone know roughly how long it takes for BARE to get back to you once you have applied for jobs? I just signed up with them on Friday and submitted requests for my first jobs a couple of hours ago.

EDIT: also - do they get back to you by email, or do you have to keep checking your account to see whether you've been accepted for it?

I applied for my first lot of Bare jobs last week and haven't heard back yet so I wouldn't hold your breathe! I'm kind of not expecting to get them anyway as I'm sure there are more experienced shoppers applying for the same ones.

Gave it a go anyway! I don't know how long Bare usually take, but it's been quite a few days with me so far.

  • Hi,
I have a query regarding GR. Since I read on here that you can add postcodes I went onto mine to do just that. I currently have a bank job open as I am waiting for a phone call and it won't let me go anywhere other than my results page. Any thoughts?

Is it maybe the case that they only contact you if you HAVE got the job and they don't bother if you haven't?
