Hi everyone, hope it's a friendlier atmosphere in here this morning!
Well I got a query from RE regarding a french sandwich place I did - I went to the wrong one! So annoyed with myself, as it was just round the corner from the right one and I could have easily done it. I'm hoping I can go and do the right one later on in the week, but I am feeling like such a dunce at the moment!
I have a posh sandwich job later on today so hopefully I shouldn't mess that up.

I don't know what's wrong with me, the amount of hassles between me and RE (mostly their fault) has really got to me!

    Hi lisa,

Thought you were joking about RE there...prob because of all the problems recently..............don't worry about it though i had that happen to me recently, not with RE though there was a two travel agents next to each other with same names (Same company aswell)...ended up doing the wrong one, but was never queried and got paid :D

Don't worry we all make mistakes, ;)

    Have a good day.

KaramelRose - LOL! I wouldn't worry - it was probably a victim of the credit crunch rather than being ditched due to your report :)

Well they have noticed with me so I don't think I will get paid - my own fault though :o Serves me right for not checking it properly.
  • Now that would be good!

On a mystery shopping note... I MS'd a concession in a well known "blue cross" department store last week. This week I went in purely to shop (brought a fab skirt in the sale - originally £25, I got it for £6.75!) and noticed that the concession I'd mystery shopped NO LONGER EXISTED!! It had closed down!

Hope that wasn't due to my report - it wasn't that bad! I quite liked that concession...

Was it the fairly posh one, where it wasn't about the action, more the 'p' of the thing? I got some good stuff in their closing down sale!

Erm... I don't think so as you've completely lost me! The concession I MS'd was a paradise you might find in a desert. The skirt I brought though was from a concession that's still going!

I also bought a bra I've had my eye on for literally YEARS with 30% off... it's so pretty! The Adorez Moi range?! Love it!

Well done to the troll who came on here and managed to insult every regular poster except two named individuals, and who scared two regular posters off the board. Thanks so much for the helpful contribution to the thread.

I don't really want to risk inflaming this situation any further, but being one of the 'named individuals', I kind of feel I need to say something. Firstly, I have no idea why I was named - I thought I was pretty much inconspicuous, and still consider myself a newbie with only about 10 months experience of MSing, so my comments are probably only occasionally helpful (HP, of course, is a different matter). I don't recall ever 'speaking' to the person who posted, so don't know why I was named.

What worries me however, is that by being named, everyone else who took offence at the post may somehow associate me with the bad vibes. I hope you won't.

I certainly don't agree with the comments made - there are a LOT of people on here who have willingly given me help and advice whenever I've asked, and I'm talking about people who have greater experience and knowledge than me (Timmne, HP, TG, Josie, RuthieJane, Becles, MikeLB, Blindman, Ellie, kman, jdan, fabsaver... and not forgetting Monkey and his big red pen ;)... and loads more who I forget at the moment, but hope you won't take that as a personal insult).

The vast majority of posters on here are kind, friendly and helpful - and let's face it none of you get paid for the help you give. I've kept out of this because I don't like arguments, and to be honest was rather surprised at the reaction, I thought it would have been best to simply ignore the offending post... but since so many people have been upset by it, I wanted to add my plea for TG and others not to leave.

I've found this forum an incredibly useful resource, and would hate for all the kind people to leave just because of one poster having a rant. Please stay guys!

I'm pretty sure that you'd be able to record as long as it is for personal use.

    .

But it isn't for personal use-it's for commericial gain -ie you're using the info for financial benefit so a court COULD take the view it's business not personal. A stretch maybe but not one I'd like to risk considered the small earnings involved.
