The Mystery Shopping thread - IX

Hello all,
I'm a long time lurker and have been MSing for quite some while. (why do I sound like I'm at an AA meeting??)
I know that I am not allowed to mention client names but I was wondering how to find out which company carried out the mystery shopping for a particular store. Is there any way to find out?
A friend of a friend MS's for this shop but is vague about telling me who she gets them through
Hope that all makes sense!! TIA0 -
Classic!! The scripts were great.
I did a bookmakers for RE and it was full of Rab Nesbitts.
It was a big race day so the place was heaving. I was the only person there without a shaved head, the only person wearing shiny shoes, the only person not wearing a black bomber jacket and the only person with a full complement of front teeth. Longest 15 minutes of my life.
Oh I know that kind of area too well. RE once sent me to the most deprived area in Glasgow to an off license. I was supposed to ask for a wine recommendation for dinner. Since Buckfast would be the norm here I got some strange looks.
The kind of place where if you see someone in a suit and tie...they are called...The Accused!!!!Clique member no 1.:D0 -

As they work on a favourite's list everyone else just gets the dregs! :rotfl:
I suspect this may be true..... I've almost given up looking on BARE and the jobs I have applied for have just sat there pending and then eventually dropped off.
Only thing is, how does one get to be a favourite if they won't give you a foot in the door...?0 -

Hi there,
Can you describe the shop discreetly? Like if it is a supermarket, you could say the orange themed one, or the one where every little helps. Or for clothes shops, there is a high street store that people refer to as the "torso shop" - that kind of thing. Maybe if we know which store it is, someone might be able to help.Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0 -

Hi, Hippo!
Welcome to the board.
If you don't mind me asking, what is it about this particular store that interests you so much?
There are lots of great clients of all kinds with various companies so you shouldn't focus too much on one store - unless, that is, there is a particular reason you're asking........?

Thank you all for your welcomes and responses
It's the store with a man's name who won't allow competitors to be cheaper than them
I'm so interested in this store because there is one near where I live plus I'm so close to London it's super easy for me to get to their main store0 -

I get where you are referring to - no idea if they use mystery shoppers or if they do which company they use. I suspect they have a good ethos, pay fairly well and train their partners (as it is a workers co-op) so service standards are possibly maintained without needing to mystery shop.0 -

That makes sense. I must admit that I haven't yet come across this store and I am registered with 10 or 11 of the main companies (I don't count BARE as I believe that I live in a kind of parallel universe where I can see them but they are blissfully unaware of my existence :rotfl:like a kind of MSing two-way mirror, I like to think).
It would be a good store to do as there are so many departments you could probably do several jobs a month for them.0
