One person's rude is another one's forthright

Moving on to more interesting and relevent stuff just picked up some more car circuit jobs -one went pearshaped on me yesterday (not the end of the world as I had other stuff to do ) and I was going to cancel but three others opened up today in the area and Bare were very helpful about alocating them. Just need to find a MS to get lunch along the way for that day and I'll be very happy :)

I work evenings from home so MSing works in nicely for me-although if I've been out all day on shops and then working it makes for a long day especially if I don't have time to submit reports before I start the normal job.

I know I've only been around here for a few months, but I've never even noticed Taggie post before (not saying she hasn't, but certainly not recently...).

Well she posted once in April telling Blindman off (do I see a pattern forming here ?) and before that last October. Guess we're going to miss his/her HUGE contribution

I have to say I am thoroughly shocked by the rudeness on this forum. As an 'oldtime' Mystery Shopper I have only ever viewed this thread as an observer, never wishing to get involved in what seems to be a 'clique'. However, for the first time I feel the need to speak out.

Having read the original 'just make it up' post in the same way as Taggie, I can completely understand his/her response. It is usual for people to just look at the last few pages of a thread, therefore the post 'DID' come across as misleading. But, oh no, it was then deemed necessary to launch a fairly vicious attack on someone, and I for one find this appalling. From looking at Taggies previous postings they have been helpful to others, sadly the same can't be said for those that have jumped on the bandwagon.

I'm certain Martin Lewis would also be appalled at posters such as Duchy and UKmonkey as I do believe when this site was set up to help and advise.

Speaking as one who took the 'Tern' test some years ago, I seem to remember I did actually carry out a scenario in a phone shop. I used my own scenario and was pleased I was able to write a comprehensive repport, rather than 'Make it up'. Sadly, I believe the credibility of most on this thread is questionable and as Taggie said, some of us want to do a good job. Personally, I would advise those who are serious about Mystery shopping look elsewhere for advice.

If you're going to create a new identity I suggest you change your style of writing -it's a bit of a giveaway :)

Can I suggest we draw a line under this whole incident? If anyone still has any disputes they'd like to argue/work out perhaps it's best to do that over PMs?

Agreed-I've reported the alt id to the correct person now so it's a moot point now.

I have to agree. FWIW, I think some of the old hands have been a bit rude today, I'm not naming any names. I'm now officially keeping out of this one from now on. I'll even draw the line under it for you:

Firstly, a big fat LOL at the spinelessness of creating a new id! ROFL.

Now, I'm not helpful to others on here then? Ok, if you say so :rotfl: :rotfl:. When did YOU last post an alert on the alerts thread? I bet you've used at least one of mine to your advantage though...

I'm not saying Taggie isn't helpful, as I *KNOW* that she is, but my point is that it's a little out of order (IMO) to come onto a thread that you've not posted on for months (according to Duchy, I've not checked personally) and criticise people, and be nasty to others?)

Agreed. If anyone wants to abuse me by PM (for doing nothing wrong, might I add!), feel free.

I would have to say you definitely 'came down in the last shower' Duchy. I'm really not certain what you mean about 'creating a new identity'. I've been a member here since last summer and as I previously mentioned, have chosen not to post due to the rudeness. But, based on your post, I have no need to prove a point.:rotfl:
