  • Turned mine off the other day! Only have 1 storage heater in the flat anyway and have a back up oil heater if needed. I'm moving in a few weeks so I'm cost cutting plus will keep warm packing all those boxes :D

wish I could save on Gas and Electric. My son has a problem with his circulation. I have to keep the room warm or his hands and feet freeze and go blue.

He does look daft wearing hat and gloves around the house during the cold weather, at times this is what he does. Poor kid !!

I've had to turn mine back on this afternoon....was doing so well. There is a ferocious wind blowing here, if it wasn't for that I think I'd be ok. Got layers on and everything! But alas I am a softy and am still cold.

Still, at least I am getting some washing dry for free in double quick time! :D

My boiler is shut down in May and not started up `til Sept.
Use the immersion heater on econ7 all through the summer for hot water and gas fire for any chilly days and nights.
