Is Your Heating Off Now?

I'm just being nosy really........
It's been quite sunny the last 2 days where I live. My heating was turned off last night and hasn't been put on today. I'm hoping it can stay like that a while (although I hear we could have a mini cold snap next week...)
Has everyone else turned their heating off or is it still too cold where you are...?

I don't have central heating, just storage heaters. I don't use them after 31 March and I don't turn them back on until 1 october - regardless of the weather. I also only have two of them on all winter - as they are so expensive to run. I make do with heat from my real fire in the depths of winter."I will be debtfree":p0

Mine is on at the mo as the timer is set.
But for the last couple of days i have not needed to put it on during the day, and it will def go off altogether in the next few weeks!!!0 -
Mine is on a programmable thermostat, it hasn't been coming on in the mornings only the evenings, I'll probably just leave it on.
Its usually set like this
06:30-9:00am 18c; 9:00-17:00 17c; 17:00- 22:00 20c; 22:00-06:30 15c.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Yep, mine is off at the mo."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0

mine is timed to come on on a morning for an hour and an evening for an hour but I als manually switch it on inbetween - have hardly had to switch it on over the past few days :T In the summer I switch the central heating off altogether and just have my water on for an hour morning and night. Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0
