An update
j.baker previously recommended I call Lloyds TSB to speed things up which I have finally got around to doing the other day (work and other things meant this is the first opportunity I got to call them as they are only open mon-fri 8-4) and this morning I have received a letter confirming i will be receiving £3600 within 21 days!!!!
The only thing is they said they will refund into my 'account' which I assume is my lloyds tsb account which I closed nearly 3 years ago so I need to ring them on monday to either get a cheque sent or arrange for money to be paid into my account which is with another bank. I would have thought it would be more useful when settling account for lloyds to check where the money needs to be paid but never mind.
I cannot thank this site enough and to all the people who have given me advice and spurred me on through all this.

Hi Melissa and Congratulations
They should send an acceptance slip, this is what LLoyds done with our last 2 ppi reclaims, where you write in your details of where you bank now, but no harm in requesting they pay by cheque, good luck.;)XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I phoned Lloyds yesterday and they will be sending me a cheque :-)0
