there was a girl in the doctors who had 3 more at home and i thought she was extravagant lol! she was planning another because it was an 'england' one.
i felt bad about buying a second pram - the first one was a £50 bargain and great for a visit to london, but just not big enough for a large baby, so i bought a maclaren xt (but in 2004 colours so it was only £120). i bought it days before a positive pregnancy test, so the xt was a waste of money too as i'll need a double lol! and i thought that was bad. with my first child i spent around a hundred on a pram from birth and it lasted until he was out of it then we passed it on!
:rotfl: i know its sad really :rotfl: but hey my downfall is handbags now so slightly cheaper than prams :T :rotfl:0 -
my only real indulgence is books, so i'm pretty cheap to keep lol!52% tight0

Well, refund on Aria advance and trip to London tomorrow faciliatated quick decision and purchase of new pushchair. Ended up with Chicco 0.4 Extreme, in orange, looks really trendy - alloy type flat tube frame etc.., umbrella fold, all extras except bag which don't need anyway as I make my own photo-changing bags, and more importantly chunky double wheels so great for all terrains. Will be fab for Lake District as we go twice a year. So in the end I didn't go for any from my shortlist which is good as I've saved money too.Irony.

My indulgence is also books - my library has a great collection of Jodi Picoult who is by far my fav author at the moment. So at least I can save money by borrowing them rather than buying them! - If only it were the same with prams...Irony.

it's a good idea, a pram hire company. delivery would have to be £15-ish each way though i suppose.
i would try the phil and ted's thing and see if roo hated being in the boot

I love the Phil and Teds double decker pushchair. It almost makes me want another baby just so I could get one. No, maybe thats a bit extreme...Irony.
