 that one was on my list when I was pregnant! But it was too much ... we got a graco travel system, then the quinny i mentioned earlier, and now we're trying for another I'd love one of the bugaboo range! Each to their own...0 -
yea id love the bugaboo with the carrycot for my next one!:A Boots Tart :A0

i think bugaboo's are cute but i couldn't afford one. when i buy a pram it's for the basket size, handle height, etc. - i'm very boring lol! i hear a lot of people criticising them though, saying they're ugly but if the baby isn't uncomfortable then i don't see a problem, if a parent has the money to spend and likes the look of a bugaboo fair enough.52% tight0

As an almost reformed pram-a-holic (on number 10 now) I am going to have to make another purchase. I sold all my prams/pushchairs and bought a M+P Aria. Suited me down to the ground because of features, price and extras (from Argos special offer). Unfortunately, the breaks and folding system are't working properly now and I am hoping to return it to Argos as I only bought it in Jan 2006.
I have had and sold, Quinny Zapp (loved look, hated psh, seat position, lack of robustness, handle height...), Urban Detours )loved 3 wheeler but not fabrics), Maclaren Strollers (not too keen on umbrella folds), M+P AT4 (loved but too big and heavy for toddler who wants to walk).
So, I now want to but something light-weight and fully featured. My shortlist is as follows, but as I am obviously very fussy about the right pushchair I just wondered if anyone has any experience of these in my shortlist and would advise me for and against. Also, as I am very superficial style is a MUST.
1) Icoo Pico 3 or 4 (about £120) - is this still quite heavy and bulky?
2) Micralight (£120) - Is this big enought for a toddler - he is 20 months?
3) Mamas and Papas Ziko - looks cool even though I don't like umbrella folds?
4) Icoo Infinity - is this too big?
5) ANY other suggestions?Irony.

wow! :rotfl:
there was a girl in the doctors who had 3 more at home and i thought she was extravagant lol! she was planning another because it was an 'england' one.
i felt bad about buying a second pram - the first one was a £50 bargain and great for a visit to london, but just not big enough for a large baby, so i bought a maclaren xt (but in 2004 colours so it was only £120). i bought it days before a positive pregnancy test, so the xt was a waste of money too as i'll need a double lol! and i thought that was bad. with my first child i spent around a hundred on a pram from birth and it lasted until he was out of it then we passed it on!52% tight0 -
Hi, if you didn't like the Zapp I wouldn't bother with the micralight. I know someone with one of these and it's really flimsy. It does however live up to it's name and is light and easy to maneouvre. It would also be big enough as she uses it for a 3 year old but he doesn't look very comfyflutterbybutterfly wrote:So, I now want to but something light-weight and fully featured. .
I like the Icoo's as well and may try one of those next. I too am a pramaholic and at one point had 5 on the go at the same time! I also love bugaboo and if I was going to have another baby (hubby says NO) I would definitely go for one of those or the Quinny Buzz.
I'm not a fan of M&P prams, I know they tend to be good quality but I prefer things that are a bit more unusual and think they tend to be quite similar. No offence intended to anyone who likes them, it's just my taste
