I want a red Quinny

I have seen the Quinny style babies pushchairs and I want one. I went and had a look yesterday and they are quite expensive. Does anyone know where I can get one from reasonably cheaper? I have been on the Wal-mart.com site and they are so cheap, but it doesn't look as though they deliver to the UK. Any suggestions?

They don't have a lot of room for baby in those things. Too much style over function if you ask me.:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0

I agree, they're wider than most other pushchairs. My 2 year old son hates my Maclaren as he's got no room to wriggle about. I always use my quinny now.:smileyhea0

I think it really depends on what your lifestyle is like. We looked at one when we went to the Baby Show last year and got the woman on one of the stands to demonstrate how it folds and it seemed quite awkward, not easy when you need to get on and off the bus and may have to fold it.
Also, what do you do with your shopping as there is no basket underneath?
We got an M&P Pulse stroller and have no complaints. It is pretty light, easily folded one handed and reclines which to us was a must. If it is the Zapp you are looking at I don't think it reclines."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
The seats look really narrow to me! Up to what age are they usefull? I cant see an older child being comfy in one of those.:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0

finc which maclaren do you have? i just bought a techno xt and it's fantastic, my baby has loads of room. i had a browse around and the maclaren looked like the roomiest for him. i initially bought a citilight typefor a trip to london and it was way too small, at 4 months my son looked cramped in there and everyone said he needed a new pram, i thought maclaren looked like the best bet because he's a big baby, and at 2 will probably be the size of a 5 year old lol! he's not fat, he's just very tall, very heavy and growing fast, so i wanted one that would last until he didn't need a buggy anymore.
a friend has ordered a quinny but i always think they look narrow and children look really uncomfortable - has anyone got one that a 2 year old fits into? can they keep their legs on the footrest bit?52% tight0 -

The quinny isn't narrow and my 2 year old can sit quite comfortably in it with his feet on the footrest. I think by the time he's 3 he may be too big for it but only time will tell. I can't see him sitting in any buggy by then as he hates being confined in anything .
They are easy to collapse and put up when you get the hang of it. Each stage is numbered and I can collapse it as quickly as the maclaren now. It's definitely NOT a 1 handed operation though. For my shopping I bought an 80p net bag from Morrisons that fits nicely so don't have any problems there.
The best thing about the Zapp though is it's the easiest buggy to push ever! I've got problems with my back, hip and pelvis so find it hard to push most buggys which is why I chose this one. It doesn't recline but again that's not a problem for me as my son NEVER sleeps in the buggy. He would rather stay awake for 24 hours and moan than sleep in a buggy!
The Zapp is useless over rough terrain though as the wheels have no grip on them, it's definitely an urban buggy. Oh and don't bother with the footmuff, it can't be washed and is awkward to fit.
Overall though, I Lurve my Zapp :happyhear:smileyhea0
