hi, you're right you do end up tearing yourself up just for buying an extra loaf or something stupid like that.
OH doesnt' really need a LBM he's only got £50 worth of debt and plenty of savings. He's just used to spending what he does have until it's gone then generally stops. I'm just training him by syphoning it all off to different accounts on pay day so there's a little bit less each month for him to fritter away.
scratch cards are dead easy, have a look at the up your income boards, basically you have to deposit something, play one card and win at least 10p which you're guarenteed to do each day, and then withdraw your original deposit straight away, thereafter you just go in each day and play that day's scratchcard, and slowely but surely it builds up and once you've reached their withdrawal limit you can take it out. i've had between 80 - 90 since the new year which i think is fab for a few minutes work.

Oh to be in the same position as your OH with that little debt!!

Think I will give those scratch thingys a go.

I have managed to list books on Green metropolis but no one seems to be biting my arm off yet, have advertised stuff in the freeads but again no response....might consider eBay but am not sure about that.

Finally spoke to WF total, got a total, and updated my sig...but they have finally agreed to freeze the interest.
I sat down and worked out that if I wanted to be debt free by the end of next year I would need to find £733 (ish) per month for my debts....,mmmmm can it be done I wonder, can it be done?

    Bank Balance £41.28
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D

The foot is that bad I have been told not to train for at least 3 weeks, and the doc looks like he won't sign my medical certificate for my extreme race in Oct as it mihgt not be healed in time. !!!!!!.

On the up side: the client did pay me, I have booked my flights for my OU summer school ( A weeks Observing in Mallorca and my mother has agreed to babysit!!!!)
Mind you I managed my 5 NSD:j and have decided to go for 10 this month (sorry August). So off we go into another month

Morning Lemontree, am doing a BSc in Physics of all things!! This year is Astronomy and planetary science and my Summer school that counts towards them both.
As for casualty, it's just something that happens, one of these days I am going to get a couple of hobbies that don't mean I end up there every couple of weeks ( or just get a lot faster so that my opponents can't touch me!)

    Today should be a NSD.
Have got to pick up joint for dinner but that is still out of last weeks budget. Have made my PAD's for the weekend and looks like if I am careful that the Cap1 CC will be paid off by the end of the month:j

Have more books to list on Amazon and then the usual housework (ironing oh the ironing) and then I am going to finally have a sort out of all the stuff I brought with me when I left/moved......starting with under the stairs... clothes so will take them to the charity shop on Monday

    £4.23 closing balance for today
Mind you have £10 in my purse
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Haven't been on for a while, or at least not updating

    Balance £54

Though this moth is the back to scholl stuff, ie new bag for DD2, new trousers/skirts for both DDs as they seem to have shot up over the last 2 weeks.

Client also being a pain, but another client has come though and need to chase payment end of the month.
Debts seems to be coming down, slowly, too slowly what is bugging me at the moment is that without the money the client was paying I can't get it down any faster.

Have decided to do a PAD fo £1 everyday, not once in a while but everyday, I was doing it for a while but slipped.

Been thinking that my motivation for everything has slipped as I have been off running/tae kwon do for 2 weeks due to injury....and if I don't train I get demotiveated/depressed....ho hum, at least I was allowed a short run today to see how things felt.

NSD today though:j no.1 for the month (the little i did spend was out of that particular budget from last week as I haven't been able to get out!)

Tomorrow am off to a chilli fest:j:j
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

well done for a NSD i've signed up for 12 but i'm struggling to think of whether i've actually achieved one yet. Sorry to hear your motivation has slipped, i'm trying to make the best of some rubbish news this week so we've been spending today on doors so we can improve our home. We've also bought two baby guinea pigs which i don't regret, they are just so sweet and very squeeky when they met our other one who lost her friend recently

ooo guinea pigs, better not tell my DD's, they'd only start to nag....mind you think the cat might like one- he was good with the hamster though.
What was the bad news lemontree?

Am back on track with the training, my foot seems to be healing, am hoping that the DF running club might come up with some ideas to stop me getting frustrated:rolleyes:

Haven't done my PADS as my internet banking locked me out because someone else managed to input my number instead of theirs, am hoping to get unlocked mon or tues.

Had NSD yesterday- 3 icecreams came out of last weeks budget, and should have a NSD tomorrow as am chained to the phone.

Am wondering howq to cut the budget further, these credit cards are bugging me....time to hit the OS boards for recipe ideas to bring some taste ( my shopping is good but recipies are very limited:D), suggestions welcome lol.

I have my debt free 5p jar, last count was £10.15 end of July, must count it and see.

hi grrrrr at being locked out of internet banking, it's like losing a limb if i can't get in one day.
Rubbish news was the value of our flats and the fact they're not selling cos i'm getting itchy feet to move somewhere bigger, hence our deciding to do the doors. Only was told today they can't be done till the weekend after the bank holiday and i was hoping they would be hung by then so i could spend the weekend painting.
i bet if we shared receipies we'd both gain, i'm like you i like cooking but do the same old same old

Lemontree, all dieas greatly received...currently I do anything with pasta! It's my one failing I can keep eating and eating it, and I make a good cheese cake ( recipe borrowed from an american friend).

Bit of a pain about the flat though, how come there is such a long wait?

Today I have got up off my backside and made my PAD ( must remember to change my signature)
My 5p jar has £12.15 in it, and I haven't been brave enough to count the copper jar as yet.

The 18th was a NSD :j will have to count up how many this month. Today I am chained to the phone, which hopefully will be good for business and for my NSD's but we shall see.
