methibks it is going to be one of those days.
anyway forgot yesterdays PAD so did 2 this morning, that now brings my CC down again.
Today I must must remeber to ring the tax office to see about a rebate ( if I am due one, doubt it but must try:cool:)
EX or soon to be ex hubbie has fianlly decided to drop the sillyness: he was trying to make me pay him half of all the bills for the years that we wrere married , even though I had paid at the time....that's one less worry.
I have decided to pay off my CC by 1st Sep this year!! Challenge number 1.
also still need to talk to bank about will they shut my account...maybe also see about changing from this additions as am being charged for it £16 per month, but then again I get breakdown insurance with it ( and as I never spend more than £400 on a car they have a very nasty habit of blowing up on me:D, and I do mean blwoing up, smoke flames the lots: that's twice now!)
Have got the buget for club/tournament entry for tonight, apart from that it might be a NSD!Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
hello there thats great news re ex husb sounds like he's still trying to intimidate you with silly demands.
Re being charged for a bank account martin has some info on here about it he always says its not worth it esp as you can break down cover for £45
good luck on your journey0 -
Cocalls, thanks for that,
have usually had breakdown with the bank, my cover for the bike is included in my insurance ( and so far not had to use it!).
Will look into that and see about taking my account back to a normal, non charging one.
:jsupposedly the bank will not shut my account if this DMP goes through......but we shall see, think it might cahnge once I ask for allthe charges back due to hardship..I wait with baited breath
First day of real work as self employed and things seems to be going as per usual- VOICEMAIL time and time again, oh well, it can't be helped
so far so good a NSD but we still have time.........tax office, xcuse me must run and ringProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Hi betti911, thanks for reading.
Update: managed to ring the tax office and have sent of my P60 with the vain hope of a tax rebate:rolleyes:, might be due on having been laid of 2 times in the last financial year and one short contract.
Bought a 'happy' file out of my budget....decided that I wasn't going to be scared of money any more and will now file all by bank statements in this bright blue and spotty file ( don't know seems to take the sting out of it!!, or maybe I am just odd).
NSD went down the pan yesterday as forgot I had to put petrol in to get us to tae kwon do.......oops ..but then again it will also carry me through to fencing tmw.
PAD made to CC: takes balance to £305 and counting.
Today should be a NSD.......update later.
Am enjoying loads of these diaries lots of motivation/tips and not making me feel alone, keep it up!:D
Also had email from a fiend who is very much in debt, and his OH seems to keep spending, he is trying to make inroads into his but not getting anywhere, up to limit on everythign and borrowing from parents! This is the second time he has been there ( last time his parents bailed him otu), have of course directed him here......more to follow.
goo:Dd day peepsProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

mmmm NSD went away again, had to buy pump and adjustable spanner to fix DD2's bike ( how can children make soooo many punctures?)
Today though WAS a NSD:j am now a happy bunny, and made my PAD only a £1 but it all counts
complete muppet of and EX OH was being a pain in the axxe but I think they all are aren't they:rolleyes:
Hopeing next NSD will be Sunday
Plan for this evening: homework (my OU summer school stuff arrived) and a niiiiice cold glass of wine.
good weekend allProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

And so its Monday..... someone on one of the forums ( can't remember who sorry) said there seems to be more than one in a week: they have a point.
Weekend was whole NSD x2 :j, well not really yeh, all because this stuipd DM people took out 2 patments:mad::mad:, I know, I know, I shouldn't be using a fee paying one, but, wellll, maybe it serves me right.
And they don't seem to work on a weekend? So, after 5 calls today nagging for the money to be returned, they say they don't have my bank details to do that and they have been trying to ring me...yeah right:rolleyes:, so supposidly the money should be in there by 515pm. We shall see.
All this mean that I couldn't do my 2 PADS and had to put back seeing my mother till next week for her birthday. I am not a happy bunny, not a happy bunny at all.
Also realised that they will be paying £30 a week to creditors and £8 per week to them. RIGHT, need to clear my debt a lot faster.
Want to be totally debt free to DEC 31st 2010...........is it possible....watch this space ( so many ideas to steal on here to try and make it possible!)Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

hi and welcome to the boards, have you considered going to a non fee paying company? why should you pay them £8 per week at all when it can be done elsewhere for free0
-
Hi Lemon tree,
I signed up before realising that there were non paying ones out there lol, any idea if it is possible to swap?
I have considered staying for a while as they can deal with WF and let me clear the CC's which I am doing with PAD...then the PAD that I would have made I could save and at the end of the year pay off part of one of the loans.
BUT, if it's possible to swap then I might just do that.
Anyway some good news ( ish:rolleyes:) the money the DM people took has been refunded, that can now give me an extra PAD and some extra petrol money for the Midlands Championships this weekend!
Reminder.....must updat sig with new CC balance!Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

So far so good, got all my staements back from my bank to see about the possibility of refunding the charges.
Wonder if I can get the 'reserve' fee refunded as well? mmmm will ty that and see.
Need to check online bnking as site was playing up earlier and I would luvre to make my PAD to CC ( then all I have to do is figure out how to put one of those line things through the ammount on my signature).
Business seems to be going well:rolleyes:as in I am motivetade, need to do quite a bit more before I start seeing results though!
EX OH is still being a pain in the bum txting friends saying I am in debt and he will pass it all over for the solicitor to take action with......all my creditors know where I am ( no point in hiding), so I have no idea what he is playing at................what is it about ex's, the fact they do something and it puts you off for the rest of the day?
Made cappichino cake and bread today: surprise for wehn the DD's come home from school ( and a treat for me) and dropped forms off for volunteering at the Sure Start local centre so not a totally wasted day.
Off to do my PAD : see that CC balance fall ( slowly, very very slowly but it WILL fall)Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
