If you just top your purse money up to £10 rather than taking £10 out after petrol you'll have £6 in your bank which = peg bag!

Although thinking about that, what cash machines give out £6?
    Don't mind me!

I was thinking, if I bought the holdall with my savings money this week I could still meet my targets if I put £60 in a week instead ... it's thinking like this that lands me in trouble!

My brother was a real sweetie though and offered me the £50 for it as long as I pay him back by the end of July. But I don't like borrowing money off of people when it's just because I'm a tightbum that I'm not buying it myself.

I agree, it seems silly to borrow from your bro when you have the money in savings, although would doing that make you more likely to pay it back than just spend it again come July?

Hmmm... OR, I could take out the £10 as planned, leaving £22 in the bank, then just get £16 of petrol on my card, leaving £6 (peg bag) ... but can I get to Newcastle and back (60 miles) on £16? Especially with the price of petrol ... and this still doesn't solve the shoes and beach bag!! :rotfl:

Couldn't you put £20 in, pay £4 cash and £16 on your card? I'm sure some places to let you do that!

If he did lend me the money I'd pay it back as soon as I reached my goal at the end of July. And I do really need a new holdall for when we go to Kent... So tempting!
My parents offered me the money for it too. It would take what I owe them up to £500 again (or £150 to pay off by the end of July) but if I were to keep paying them off at £20 a week it would only be £30 to take out of savings at the end of July to fully pay it off.
I should not be thinking like this!

And now I owe my parents £500  I have zero self control, but the bag will last me years so I can't be too much of a grumble pants. And I'll still have it all paid off by the end of July.
Also, my mum bought herself the Stanley print weekend bag so no postage fees for moi! :j

Found 4 things to put on eBay, my old vinyls and some signed tickets so I'll get them on tonight while I'm watching Eastenders. I've roughly timed everything and it should be easily done! Just need to find something to dooyoo about  Figure I can do my 2nd review for this week on whatever movie me and OH to go see tomorrow.

    ETA:
    Thursday To-Do:
Get on top of Daily clicks
[STRIKE]Try and find at least 2 things for eBay[/STRIKE]
    1 DooYoo review
Make a batch of oaty biscuits for OH
    [STRIKE]Do 15,000 steps[/STRIKE] Not a chance, did 40minutes on the treadmill at 4.5mph though.Good enough for me!
[STRIKE]Do the ironing for Mum (excuse to watch a dvd)[/STRIKE] Turns out it was on excuse to watch Desperate Housewives.

Decided not to put the vinyls on ebay, not too sure about posting them and I'm sure they'll sell at the carboot sale on Sunday. Weather is looking lovely for it so fingers crossed it's a good turnout.

Well, It's done! I only owe my parents the money for OHs laptop. But I don't feel like I can celebrate, as my parents have decided to let me off with the other £150. On the condition I put the money into my savings, which is awful nice of them but it feels like I'm cheating. Still, I'm going to keep up with my daily clicks, ebaying, carboots and what not.

So no more real need for this diary, but I don't want to close it! :(

Hey Cinny, where've you gone? I'm a bit confused about what's happened ... did your parents just let you off with the extra money and now you just owe them for the laptop? And when does that need to be paid?

Glad you got the bag in the end :D I found an Accessorize cloth bag thing with Russian dolls on that will do for on the beach rather than pay £18 plus £5 postage for the CK one - it has fit all my ebay parcels in today so it can definitely cope with a couple of towels, a book and some sun cream! And I've banished all thoughts of a premature peg bag from my head!!

Did you have the car boot at the weekend? How did it go? Charity cake stall must be soon too?

    Hey Tete!

They let me off with the last of the money (£150) Really lovely of them! I just owe them the money for the laptop which they want in November. Bar that, every penny in the bank is miney mine mine!

Haven't been on for a few days as 1) OH bet me I couldn't stay off of DFW and 2) I really needed a break after Friday.
I think I've put way too much strain on myself saving, when I don't *really* need too. I'm relaxing my savings majorly, putting £30 in a week now instead of £50, it'll still add up but it gives me money to enjoy myself before the real onset of scary adult bills and whatnot. As long as I keep a cap on it all.

We didn't do the carboot in the end, OH forgot to bring his bits over and I didn't have enough for a stall. The charity cake stall is early August now, really excited!

The bag sounds lovely Tete! My luggage bag turned up yesterday. I think I could fit myself inside it! All excited for Kent next weekend so I can use it.

Been pampering myself a bit, facepacks and icecream all round!

Pampering sounds lovely, haven't had a face mask in ages! Hmm. *plans evening of sitting round with a mud mask on painting her toenails*

Sounds good with the savings, an extra £20 a week will make make a big difference and you'll still be saving £120 a month which is brilliant for an 18 year old!

Glad you like the bag, Kent is next weekend, as in this weekend coming?

We go on the 9th! I'm completely rubbish with 'next weekends' things like that, I always use the wrong one!

I used a Superdrug peel off one the other day, 89p and it smelt like apples! Nothing better than a DIY pamper night. Having another one tonight because I'm just pain greedy!

    Hey Cinny,

Good news about your parents letting you off that money, must be a bit of a relief! Glad you're feeling better about your savings too - for what it's worth, I think you're doing the right thing :)

P.S Don't close the diary! It's good to have a place to keep track of your money and what you're doing and plans etc :T
