Tesco - Parent/Child + disabled car spaces

My own manner is not deeply hostile or agressive at all. Read the posts,or better still, quote the ones you refer to. The poster wanted to be patted on the back for doing something which is clearly wrong, when this was pointed out to her (by others as well as me)she became rude and dismissive.
If you wish to get back on topic, stop posting!0 -
I have a question for all about parent and child places in any supermarket.
How young/old does the child have to be?
Can there be two adults with the child/children?
I ask as yesterday I saw a couple with a boy who must be 13 using a space.
If the child is too old to fit in the child seat of the trolly, or does not need close supervision I feel.
Some stores specify age or small children.0 -

I think specifing small children is unfair on these child who grow faster than others. Same unfair rules that lead to children with big feet having to pay more as their size become adult shoes and so liable for VAT0 -
the truth is sometimes unpalatable, oh and "pop it up your bottom" is not exactly polite conversation is it?
 so ,yes, my comments/observations from my previous post as explained above, stand.
Ok, well to take your advice as I am prepared to see something from the opposite angle.
My observations about you are that you are opinionated, narrow minded and incredibly righteous. But that can't be fair as thats based on the tone you use in your posts.
I think you believe you are intelligent, but actually you come across as quite miserable and way to serious.0 -
Nope its nothing to do with that. It was the tone and content of your posts on this subject. It showed exactly what kind of person you are whether you meant it to or not.
Wrong. Ive known me for 33 years and you are wrong.
You can't go around calling people 'selfish' without knowing them :rotfl:0 -
Oh and thank you Biscit and adouglasmhor -
Whilst they might not agree with things I have said at least they have made sugesstions and asked questions in the nature of a debate rather than hurling 'selfish' badges around.0 -

Okay in my opinion its selfish to take a disabled parking spot when your not disabled and purely because the mother and baby spots are all taken. You stated you did that therefore it would suggest that in my opinion you are selfish. So thats why I said you were selfish. I based my opinion on a fact that you offered. I hope I have made that clear and apologies for having to over emphasis it but I obviously have not made myself clear in previous posts.0 -

But no-one has hurled selfish badges around. They just said you were selfish for potentially stopping a disabled person from parking in a spot designed for them. I don't think there are many good normal people who would disagree with that.0 -

Thank you,:D I am opinionated, I am not narrow minded, and only righteous when it is obvious to all where "right" lies (and in this instance it is not with you)
As for intelligence, I generally leave that for others to judge, although I would back both my paper qualifications (one of which is in Pyschology) and experience against yours.
As for being serious,or miserable, not even my worst critic would say that, so on a lighthearted note:-
I do also know the correct usage of the words "to" and "too" something which apparently eludes you:rotfl:0 -
Nothing dishonest about my terms. I had moved on but...
I was playing on the phrase "that's like the pot calling the kettle black" which everyone knows is about two soot blackened cooking implements sitting on a fire. I substitued the old kettle for a brand new, non blackened electric one.
That's like the pot calling the kettle black... when the kettle is actually a very pale shade of grey and the pot is deepest black. You were calling someone's behaviour unpleasant which was a bit rich given the tone of your own postings.
I prefer the one about too many cooks...
