So i have now set myself a target for xmas 2009 of debts being reduced to £32635.39..........that would mean since april 09 LBM of £42048.69 i would have paid off £9413.30 in 9months!!

So wish me luck....i would be soooo happy if i achieve this.
It would mean reducing loan repayments down to £15567.42 and getting cc outstanding down to £17300. currently these are at £19855.32 & £20015.17 respectively.

The loan side of it shouldnt be too hard as these are standing orders and go out automatically. Its the overpayments on the cc's i need to work on! watch this space. :money:

    Afternoon all.

Well its not really a big day for paying debts....but small steps and all that!!

My debt busting day looks like this...
    20p to the sealed pot.
    £3.58 to lloyds cc
    £23.11 to virgin cc.

total so far for today £26.89.

I am however happy as we owe under £20k on loans and under £20k on cc's. this time last year the loans debt would have stood at just under £29k and the ccs probably at around £23k......So apart from the debt busting since june most of this debt has come down naturally in terms of min payments and standing orders. I cant wait to see the results in 12months now we are actually overpaying on cc's etc. :T:A

Right im off, might be back a little later with some more figures...if not it shall be tomorrow....to keep in line with my pay something a day!!

Well done, you will be debt free before you know it at this rate.

I haven't done any payments today, only have £36 in the bank as my Paypal money didn't go in and I have 8 parcels to post, one is Special Delivery so will be £5 just for that.

Going to try and get lots listed this weekend on Ebay.

Have to go and pick OH up from up the road as his car won't start, he's just swapped from his van to the car and got tax.

    Will check back later.

just the usual daily update for me.

have made some payments today so here they are:-
    £64.03 min payment to mbna.
    £116.92 min payment to barclaycard.
£5.00 to the lloyds o/d fund
    £3.60 to virgin

    Total today £189.55

Not bad really. So have update the sig as usual. Am evenmore determined to get these debts down now as the interest is ridiculous. going to make some phonecalls tomorrow to mbna to get the interest rates reduced...even if its just by a little! Did it a few months ago now but have just checked and one card has suddenly gone up in terms of interst again...only by a couple of £ but still!!! Will try my luck anyway.

Not much else to report. All min payments on cc's are now done for the month, as are the loans (bar the black horse will go out on monday). So whatever is left now is ours to spend.....which isnt much  ah well....if i want to get these debts paid then i need to sacrifice having less money in my purse - for now.

off for a cosy sat night in on sofa now with salad for my tea!! yummy...will update my weight loss sig in the morning!! fingers crossed the dial on the scale will have shifted a bit.

    happy sunday everyone.

just another regular update from me.....this is getting boring huh??!!

    payments made today:-
£5.00 to hsbc cc (we were naughty and have spent on it within the last 4 weeks so im going to make some extra payments off it throughout this month. it has now been destroyed!! lol)
    £20.00 to lloyds saving account.
    £5.08 to virgin

    total for today £30.08

personally having a rubbish sunday. OH gone out and feeling like im the only one tackling these debts sometimes! I know i porbably get too wrapped up in it sometimes but i just soooo want it gone...or at least down. If we didnt have the cc's then things would be sooo much better. we pay out £500 on these a month!! its crazy!! I know my payments are sometimes small but look at how quickly they add up. I sat and worked out how much of the money over the last 20days has been additional to minimum payments and loans and its a over £500!! thats fab i think!!

aahhh im rambling now......will go make myself a cuppa and cheer myself up!!

oooo and i've lost 2.25lbs!!! only another 7.75lbs to go to reach July target of 10lbs loss!!
