And Gwen80,
if you really want to be petty......
IT'S BRAS!! NOT BRA'S. It's a plural etc....meaning more than one, so really it's a bra!!
For crying out loud, you didn't pay for the voucher in the first place.0 -

Actually 'if' should really have been a capital.
No, I didn't. Next time I get one, I'll throw it in the bin.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
Sorry, I assumed you'd started a new sentence as it was on a new line.
If you have nothing useful to say, why waste (excuse the pun) your time replying?Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
Please....can we get this thread back on track?
I think the moral of the story here is that if you get a free voucher to use, ALWAYS read the terms and conditions before spending it so that you don't lose out like the OP has. In the grand scheme of things, I don't see why M&S couldn't have just issued some sort of credit but maybe they had a ruling from Head Office.0 -

And definitely don't ask a member of staff about the Terms and Conditions.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
Well if you could be arsed to check my posts rather than make a sweeping statement you will see I am not a troll.Lol, I'm going to assume you're a troll. How unhygienic do you think trying a bra on is? Do you not try on clothes when you buy them? Anyway, regardless of your opinion, every high street shop I use regularly, operates a returns policy for items tried on at home as long as they are returned within 28 days with a valid receipt and that includes bra's. If you're not informed about the topic, it's maybe best not to offer 'advice'? Like the assistant at M&S lol.
Also I never offered advice, your intial response was arsey and I replied in the exact same way not offering advice but highlighting the hygeine issue that I assumed was applicable as my other half never seems to be able to bring underwear back if it has been tried on, even over the clothes.0 -

The reply was arsey, because your comment was arsey. 'How the hell can you return underwear when you've tried it on?' Use of the phrase 'how the hell' came across as particularly arsey.
As I've said in an earlier post, I was rather taken aback by the number of either irrelevant/unhelpful or antagonistic comments I received. I wasn't expecting it on this forum.
I'm surprised your OH can't return underwear. I've only ever bought it from M&S though (this is subject to change now) and they have no problems returning it. I've never heard of there being a hygiene issue with bras (corrected). As you were not the only poster on here to mention it, I did reply, querying why people thought there might be a hygiene issue with bras? I haven't had any reply until now, so I assumed it was a case of jumping on any reason to turn the blame on me?Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
What's the difference between trying on a bra in store and trying it on at home? It will still touch your bare skin and....nipples :O wherever you do it.
