She would be perfect for Jeremy Kyle! How she ended up as such chav scum I will never know.

I have a job, am married and only have one child by one women, so I doubt Jeremy would let me on.

Don't put that idea into her head, she'll get paid for appearing and won't claim that as income.

i dont understand why people are insulting each other in here....
benefit fraud is a serious thing. years ago i had to do a taped interview as supposedly i had done something wrong. I worked part time on saturdays which they knew about and over a 6 month period duje to pay being increased by something like a few pence I had supposedly earnt under £5 fraudently. I had to do taped interview and was really worried. especially as they kept going on about court. it took months to be rectified but they decided they had made an error. i NEVER want to be in that situation again as i felt like a criminal and I had not done anything wrong and they would not even take the supposedly overpaid money off of me when i tried to pay it to them. worst thing is i was a single parent at the time and i have known MANY getting tons of stuff I never got and tons of stuff they didnt declare and getting away with it. it all really annoys me as people used to look down their noses at me and yet im a citizen with morals so not the sort of person they expect me to be. anyhow i looked at this link as i am getting to the stage where i feel like reporting someone. have a housing association house which they rent out to someone else (and charge them way over what their actual rent is) and they live elsewhere and use the extra money towards that rent. really annoys me as if they dont need the house it should be given to someone who does - plus when i had a ha house and had to relocate for work i was forced to give the house back. i have been in private rented ever since on £800 a month which we struggle to pay so when other people get away with stuff time and time and time again it starts to wind me up :(

Because she is a close relative and is very open about it (to my mum anyway)

You said in an earlier post that you'd reported her twice. Imo you've done your bit and you should let it go now. Keeping on, smacks of some sort of vengeful vigilante thing that's only going to keep you annoyed. As said earlier, this can be a slow process. Reports do not get ignored, they do get assessed so if there is anything to find, they will find it and it will be dealt with.

I 100% agree! There's too many people out there getting away with benefit fraud and draining the system and then there's people like me who have had to give up work due to illness and only get £50 odd pounds a week on ESA....If it was upto me I would the same thing if I knew someone like that was draining the system....

What is the best way to report someone for benefit fraud? A "single" mum is living with someone claiming income support and housing benefit. He works full time.
How do I report her and how long will it take for action to be taken?

No need to report them if you believe the propaganda advert that`s on the telly.

    "We`re closing in"

What they really mean is they`re relying on people like you to shop the so-called cheats.

Maybe the first place for them to "close in" is the House of Commons!

Sounds to me like the OP has an axe to grind, reported twice already - they DO look into reports, obviously they are satisfied .. just maybe the claim is genuine! It seems to me that every time someone is moaning about people working the system it turns out they are p**d off because they apparently dont get the same - well its simple if you fulfill the rules you get the money, if you dont fulfill the rules you dont get the money .. no-one is really robbing the tax payers except MP's, banks, rich people who avoid loads of tax, and multinational companies just my opinion of course!
