have a look on https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum you can see all of the threads there and where people are up to with their particular bank. Some people are paid out straight away depending on the amount claimed for and the bank that they are dealing with.

Also have a look at the Bank Action group site

Lots of peeps have been successfull. The important thing to remember is that you may have to go to court so you have to be prepared for that.

I was thinking of doing this too,Just wondered how many people had to get to the stage of threatening/ organising legal action? Thats the only part that scares me!

With all this publicity about banks refunding charges, I wonder how long it will be until everyone gets charged for everything again??

At the moment if you keep your account in credit there are no fees.
If you go overdrawn and ask first the fees are not too bad.
If you go over your limit you should be charged loads.

Banks are a business, and all the people overdrawn are keeping the majority of us in "free" banking. Why should that stop for a few overspenders??

    Rant over for the day...

maybe we dont want to subsidise your free banking any longer?!!?? :p

on a serious note though im claiming mine back as im sick of being charged £25 a shot - i wouldnt mind if it was a reasonable amount and would live with it.....a reasonable amount to be charged is all we are asking for.
