    Vyle,

Do you think customers have got worse since the internet became popular?

I mean pre internet days when the average Joe wanted a camera they went to town - looked at what was available in the shops and then bought the one they liked/could afford.

Now on the other hand we all know exactly what is out there/what it costs at various places and we can get stuff faster!!! So people want more choice and they want it yesterday! Which of course they can almost have by paying extra for next day delivery from internet stores!

Dunno but I think people are more impatient and less willing to wait so frustration builds up.

    Just my 2p.

Could well be. Most annoyingly, the first customer kept trying to grab me while she could SEE i was demonstrating two video cameras to another customer and couldn't just leave them out in the open for obvious reasons.

Some people are just so rude.

Yeah that was rude and selfish.

She could've saved herself a trip and you a lot of grief by ringing ahead to check if you actually had it in stock. I do that if I'm making a special journey to go and see something.

Oi catwoman! You have another 2 messages!

Feel free to quote those as well.

    Child!

Oh I forgot... you won't be able to see this because I'm on ignore right? So why did my pms go through? Not really telling the truth then are we?

Stirring stuff up again like the child you are. Baiting someone you thought wouldn't reply to make your self look big and important. Do we have self esteem issues dear?

Your thread just became another place for staff who should be grateful they have jobs, to complain and cry about how badly they are treated.

But then you knew it would. Muppet.
Just so your aware, if a user has you on ignore you can send them a pm but guess what  they won't get it. So who is the muppet now :rotfl:
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

I don't know who is it?

I reckon it is YOU for telling me that lovely nugget of information!!! Cheers mate! :T

You'd have been better to have left me in ignorance. :rotfl:

    Love ya,

Takoda. MWA (that's a kiss because you were so helpful and there is no kissy smilie as far as I can see)

Oh yeah just a little bit of help back because you've been so kind to me. It is you're when you are using the shortened form of 'you are' and not 'your'.

Happy to help a friend in need :rotfl:

No I don't think so. Flattering the customer - agreeing with their choice etc makes good business sense to me. Even if you think someone is an idiot it is best not to say so or to use your skill so they eventually come around to thinking they changed their mind all by themselves.

But most people on here don't own their own businesses so it is no skin off their nose if customers don't come back.

I vote with my feet and my money - if I get good customer service then I go back but if I don't then I probably won't bother with that shop again.

I actually do, and I have been known to refuse to serve some customers, some people have been really critical and sarcastic in front of my stall, and when they get like that, I refuse to serve them, and I always do it with a smile, my thinking ... if they can stand there and slag my stuff off, then they won't look good in it anyway.

But if they are being critical and sarcastic about your stuff then surely they wouldn't want to buy anything anyway.
