I'm on a bit of a different track from the rest of you - I'm not sure if to post or not! Dont want to confuse the issue!!
I'm with you up to where George Dance the Younger is - what do you think - post or no post - that is the question.
    (I'm still struggling though)

    Go for it itsinthemail.
I got stuck without the floor plan of the crypt so decided to try and find a garden in London where a tree has been moved, near a drive with a european name, with the thought of then checking back the link to someone buried in st pauls. Hmm. not getting too far.

That's everyone that's buried in st pauls if anyone wants to try trawling through.

    Ok - I'll give it a go.
George Dancer the Younger - portrait in the National Portrait Gallery
The History Scribe - Dr Samuel Johnson? is in the NPG (Collections/explore/By Period/Georgian and Regency Pg 2)
Next to him is George Frideric Handel. Haven't got the European drive worked out.
Handel (lived in Brook St cant see any drives there) had a long association with Covent Garden where many of his operas were premiered.
Cant find an old tree that was moved, but thought it might be Capability Brown that moved it - and he worked on just about every palace and castle, which is what I thought the second word might be.
    Probably rubbish!!!!
