We did have a netgear router, the IT guy tonight tried the free BT Home hub we had sent out tonight. BT have said its a fault with them so waiting to see if they sort things, my computer knowledge is not good but the guy who was round knows what he is doing - once BT have sorted the problem I plan to go back to the netgear router - at the mo its only the BT one plugged in.

I think its a wired one - but my netbook runs off it on a wireless set up - sorry am no good with computer terms!

If your netbook connects to it wirelessly, then it is a wireless router.

Think this will be an on going saga as BT said Its all fixed and yet still no internet. Spoke to engineer who was at our exchange box up the road today - he would not check ours - did say someone else had been looking at it and did say the BT call centre was a nightmare.

Im not ringing them again just go round in circles. If we were not tied to a contract Id leave BT now.

So non the wiser on how to get interent back:mad:
