When the OP posted the first post, it read as "I don't want to pay, do I need to?"
And I don't understand why you think "Do I need to pay" could mean anything. Any grasp of the English language would suggest that it meant that he didn't want to pay.

And if the OP can't be bothered to add enough information in the first place, why should they get a response guessing at what they might mean? If they don't want to give the information, they can't expect anything different. We don't know what they are thinking, so we give a response based on the info they give. It is that which resulted in the harsh replies because we had to guess that they wanted to worm their way out of paying.

Why should we have to ask for more information anyway? It's them that is looking for the help.

I 'd hate to ask you for directions,
Do I mean to pay, is just that, a question nothing more.
All you had to do was ask for more info if you did not understand the question. Or would that be to much trouble?
  • I've just wondered over here from the DWF site and I can hardly believe what I'm reading. What a bunch of children!

Irnbruman please post this on the DebtFreeWannabee forum where you will get grown-up advice.

Before there are any nasty comments about DWF posters, not everyone on the DWF is in debt or financial trouble many of us just like to help.

After all, who can be sure a close friend or relative isn't having money troubles?

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

On the contrary - this site is made up of people from all sections of society, with a whole host of differing views, which makes for healthy (albeit at times heated) debate.

I think you will find that it is CAG that is the exclusive club - anyone not subscribing to their philosophy of 'all lenders are bad and you should find every excuse and opportunity not to pay back your obligations' is routinely hounded off their forum.

I think you're bang outta order and need to get your facts straight before spouting such rubbish that is so far fetched i'll have to start calling you Proliant if you carry on!

CAG does NOT hound people, the differences are evident in that CAG help people, a lot on here wouldn;t last 2 minutes in CAG because Caggers are decent and not judgemental unlike some on here, same old leeches that thanks the silly posts.... no names need to be mentioned (Proliant et al.....)

C'mon now Kermit. You being the head of the muppets on this site surely can come up with something more origional then that. I mean how many times have you used it..?. Go back to your hovel. Give it a few weeks of thinking, take your time, i wouldn't want you to overwork that half a brain cell you have left and see if you can come back with something more origional.

    Nicely said - couldn't agree more :T

    King Muppet sounds better though!

You seem to be on your own with this one. No one except trolls are backing you up. By the way, when you learn how the real world operates, then you can come back and lecture us all on how we should treat people. If you ask a stupid question, (or only put about 10% of the story in) you get a stupid answer (or an answer based on that 10%). How were we to know there was any more to the story?

Well I aint no troll and I fully back him up. You're mouthy with little facts behind the mouth, bit like another person mentioned a lot on here!

Maybe try practicing what you preach. :rotfl:
So I'm going to stop now, as I have no intention of being an idiot like you.

Bit late for that really - you done that ages ago!
