Try looking at www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk for advice on any credit agreements and their enforceability.

first time on this
was looking for help and advice
not a load of 1 liners (your horse is high)
thank for the help
You get out of things what you put into them. Your posts are currently lacking information, show no signs that you've done anything to help yourself, and while I don't condone the one liners, your post seems almost to be designed to attract them.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
i was trying to reclaim ppi. sent letter and £1.
bank returned my £1 and said the could not find it.
so now i cant reclaim my misold ppi .
so i thought do i need to repay loan
thank
Have you asked the bank which firm they use to provide PPI. If you find this out you can then contact them direct.0 -
Don't be ridiculous. Of course you don't need to pay. Why should you have to pay back money that you agreed to return? Where are your morals? You can take whatever money you like from loan companies, you have no obligation whatsoever to pay it back just because you signed an agreement. Who do these loan companies think they are expecting people to pay them back?
Bit of a stupid comment don't you think..?. Where did he say he was looking to not pay his loan back.?. Maybe a more adult reply (if you are an adult that is) and not a complete moron would have been to ask the OP for a bit more information regarding his origional post. Then as has been posted a bit further down the thread you would have found out he was refering to PPI. Before you say it maybe he should have been a bit more informative in his origional post. But then in hindsight maybe you should have been a bit more mature in your response and asked the obvious question.
Enjoy your day..!0 -
.....Yes, next question?I have lost my loan agreement my bank have not got my oringanal copy what can i do?
thankSince when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
Yes, I am sure OP would like a proper answer as well. What is it with certain people on here?
I would suggest that OP should sign up to a more tolerant site like Consumer Forums where posters are not sarcastic in their replys
Certain people on here seem to think they are in some exclusive club.0 -
Certain people on here seem to think they are in some exclusive club.
On the contrary - this site is made up of people from all sections of society, with a whole host of differing views, which makes for healthy (albeit at times heated) debate.
I think you will find that it is CAG that is the exclusive club - anyone not subscribing to their philosophy of 'all lenders are bad and you should find every excuse and opportunity not to pay back your obligations' is routinely hounded off their forum.0 -

If you look right up at the very top where is says "do i need to pay." Maybe that would give an indication? Who's made the stupid comment now?:rolleyes:Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Hush silly boy. "Do i need to pay" could be anything, and if you used the single brain cell you have left, that comment could mean anything. That is why as i have said a more mauture response would be to ask for more information. As i am sure you are aware an agreement could mean anything. In this case he lost his agreement but was specificaly refering to the PPI. Although as i have said he didn't mention that till afew posts after.
Would you like to carry on... i am sure you have better things to do.0
