OOOh yeah I think they were about £3 a pack! They also had heart shaped ones to go on cake, I think they are about the same price! They would look amazing, I thought about them but probably won't get them now! I know I will be relieved when the payment is made and it is another thing crossed off..
Wow, how exciting that they have put the banns up, it makes it so much more real I think. They put ours up when we gave notice!
I keep having mad moments of hysteria, excitement and major panic lol!!! God knows what I will be like the night before.

Oh bug**r!,
phoned the big fabric store I saw the linen for the table in to double check the parking situation as we were going there this morning and they dont have white linen in stock just now.Not the season for white linen apparantly,i.e. any sensible person is supposed to have a summer wedding and they dont cater for winter brides(thats my words not theirs, she was very apologetic).
But I may be getting a lovely bespoke hand stitched table cloth instead form an ebay business,"linenbeauty".I have e-mailed for a quote.Fingers crossed."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
Don't stress if you can't find silver platters to match all the others - buy 2 the same, but different from the others, for you & your new hubbie.0

Almost there now.I keep coming back and editing my main posts just to keep myself up to date with what I have still to do.
We ended up spending more than double what we had planned to on wedding rings as the initial ones were so thin they were sharp on the edges.
Spending more on eco lanterns too as I found some which dont have the wire in them but they are twice the price.Better for a country area though as I dont want to be responsible for hurting any livestock.Just hope its a still night so we can use them.
Found out that tesco have a store close enough to our venue to deliver,so thats another job made much easier.Seems a bit odd getting a tesco delivery made to a castle.
Just finishing off bits and pieces today online, sending final ceremony script to the celebrant, final menu to the chef,e-mail everyone to double check they know how to get to the castle, plan menu for the week and order the shopping from tesco, order wine from the nearby winery to be delivered, order some special whisky for the quaich ceremony and for after dinner. Not much to do now apart from spend even more money and work on some beauty treatments, hair to be coloured next week and nails done before we leave.Maybe get a manicure day before wedding too?
Have to go and pay for OH,s wedding pressie tomorrow,£180 for a bottle of whisky:eek: but he will love it so its worth it."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0
