PenPen - I thought the paper was fine, first half (design) was on the theme of nightime. Second part was on redesigning a shirt and smart materials, care labels. Foundation and Higher very similar with the higher just requiring a bit more depth. Hope she did well - that is her done isn't it?

Triker I'm sure ours are all finished next Wednesday with the last of the GCSE's being Chemistry for us. Is your DD doing triple (single subjects) or combined?

Right off to sort some washing and to bed for a quick read (normally only manage 2 pages before my eyes shut)

Fledgling - he's only 7  :rotfl: How are your chook plans progressing

Of course he's only 7 - the first 7 year old to be married for nigh on four years and about to buy his own home with his wife! :p

The chook plans have been put on hold. Seems there weren't enough lady chicks to go round and we were not near enough to the top of the list. I'm quite sad really. But we have been told that we are top of the list for next year's hatching experiment.

Saw a job advertised in the free paper that came today, thought I'd give it a go as its at my sons school across the road, same hours so would save 5 hours travelling and £30 petrol per week. £3k less pa but I would get all the hols off (except 2 wks) and OH says go for it so now trying to do an application for which I am totally out of practice. Application has to be in tomorrow

I have everything crossed for you Kazm - get that app in!
