I'm back still cleaning i'm determined to get at least one bedroom cleaned by tonight - still havent done the kitchen floor .......it looks like its going to rain and if the dog comes in my time would have been wasted so i'm waiting uptil the morning for that and will give the living room floor another once over too.

Havent long moved in here and i still dont feel like this house is cleaned to a level i feel comfortable in - still feel like im cleaning up after previous owners - i may be paranoid i dont know but i'm gradually relaxing!

Does anyone know if the plastic once white alarm box (now yellow from previous smoking tenants) could ever go back to white or am i living in cookoo land?? yuk!

I got an absolutely rollicking from the woman on the end of the phone saying that the accident had happened the day before and that "everyone knows that you're not supposed to call 999 - you should have called the operator!"

That was a bit unfair of her. You were doing it with the best intentions. However, I do know that some people are a nightmare. They phone 999 to say that they've run out of nappies or they need a number for a taxi firm. I have my local police station's number in the mobile, so its stored for important but not emergencies.

Flying wise...er...I'll tidy the LR ;)

Pleased because only one room left to do which won't take too long either and I didn't leave it until the weekend this week. Only because I am off work!
