Hi Vanilla, how are you and hows LO?
Hugs Jinky, hope you are ok
FFP, I’m sure DS will be great tomorrow!
Big hugs Summer, I’ve been struggling today with the BD. Being tired makes me worse, and you mention that you are tired, so try to rest and just gently get on with the housework when you can cope with doing a bit. I find doing some flying helps me, but I have to be careful not to get worn out. It helps to look back and think “I did…today” otherwise I feel I’ve wasted a whole day otherwise. It’s really hard that your OH isn’t more understanding, do you have a friend locally who is understanding? Make sure you eat healthily too, and maybe some exercise would help – it is the best thing for depression. Sorry I can’t be more help. Re your OH, I find the OTT praise thing works wonders!
Kazm, yes I had a fairly restful day, although I felt quite stressed thinking about all the things I should be doing but just didn’t have the energy to do! I feel a bit better now tho. I’m really glad for you and OH, I expect he needs to unwind quite a bit before he can think about anyone else, hard tho that is for you xx
Carol, your OH’s way of packing sounds just like my OH’s way – he gets up on the morning of the holiday and shoves a few things in a rucksack. Taking passports/tickets/anything important is my department! Altho he does usually organise a mate to take us to the airport!
SunshineSheli, hope your head is better soon
Flying: I've washed up and S&S'd the kitchen, and have [STRIKE]hidden[/STRIKE] put away DH's black shoes that he had left in the darkest part of the room for me to fall over
Altho I'm in an extremely grumpy mood this evening, I feel sorry for DH, he has worked really hard today and looks worn out and hayfevery"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

DS (aged 10) dusted the dining room - he had to have 2 goes as he always tries to only do half a job - & that room tidied & vacuumed as well so feeling pretty pleased.
just going to aim to do level 1 as before in the hope I can keep it up this time - thought I was doing so well but found as soon as I got out of routine everything went to pot!0 -
Evening everyone. Its been a long day at work I thought it was never going to be hometime. The incident I talked about on the last thread is now a police matter which is fine by me. The weather has been red hot one minute then torrential rain.
Pigpen thanks for the lists. Soappie you did a brilliant job with the stars and welcome back Toots. I think its a good thing job sharing the stars. I did some of the kitchen on Saturday so will finish it tomorrow.
Solwaykid Welcome back.
pigpen Glad to hear Hazel is improving a bit.

Toots Im sure I have a little OCD myself. With me its double checking doors are locked.
My name is boddy and I hate the kitchen too. I like ironing though.
Off to do a few little jobs so at least Ive done something. Then bed for me as Im shattered0 -
Dusty, he'll be 6 weeks this wednesday. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone and how much he has changed.
Rosepink, we're both well, now that we have a better routine and he's feeding better.
WM reloaded and clothes all put away for now.
Feeding time again.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
That was quite productive.
Clean towels put away
Uniform ironed
Work bag emptied and put away.

Kazm - stay strong love - that's the best thing to do. There's always the bathroom you can go to to lock the door and weep if you need to. My bathroom has dealt with a lot of upset...
And Blimey Kazw - with our wall to wall sunshine (and heat!) today such that I've had two lines of washing dry in just about as many hours, I hadn't picked up on the flash floods. Hope everyone's Ok
Rosep - hoping your hoover comes back to life - if it does, you can call it Lazarus (do you have the tale of Lazarus who was brought back from the dead in your faith?)
Funfair - everything crossed and vibes for your DS and the Olympics!
Boddy - if you like ironing you can come do mine. In fact, I could split it between you and Valli and you could both have an iron offIn fact, if I develop the SHUNT idea (Soappie Heads Up North to Toots) I could drop you both off a big bag on the way and collect it, all done, on the way back
:D
I am pooped tonight and am about to crawl into my pit. I need to be up early tomorrow. I'm off to a planning appeal hearing - helping out a fellow MSE'er tomorrow morning (not from this board) so I need to be at my most persuasive and efficient. Wish us luck please and serious vibes that the Inspector dismisses the appeal!
I have washed everything up after dinner and the kitchen is gleaming.
I wonder what delights Piggers has in store for us tomorrow - I'm tempted to do a match bet on the living room....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I have flown - its amazing what emotions can do to you sometimes!
Dusty, OH has been home since about 630, I can tell they put him through the wringer but he hasnt talked about it yet, infact we're not talking at all. He cant deal with me being emotional over it. I mean !!!!!! I know he's had a hard time but I've had to live with it too and I havent had the alcohol to fall back on  anyway I found some strength from somewhere and flew
