Could I ask for some vibes for DS2 for tomorrow he is taking part in the school olympic games doing the hammer throw and is a bit nervous to be representing his school.

Off to make his packed lunch and that will be another job done.

Totally suffering today, think the depression is trying to push its way back in, and I dont want it too. Desparately trying to get myself out of it but the state of the house and the lack of help with anything is really starting to push me further down.
Anyone got any tips to hlp me fight it. Waste of time talking to OH, if he doesnt get to do what he wants to do(playing comuter games ALL FORKING day) he just doesnt want to know!!! Have tried asking him for help, have tried blowing up at him and having a complete meltdown but nothing is getting through.

I am soooooo tired, emotionally and physically!!!!!

Anyhoo, my list so far today!!

    SummerMoon,

Poor you having to put up with this. Will he share a list with you if you write it down? If not will he cook tea and wash up for you as compensation? Or will he do a HHC and see how much you can get done in half an hour and then it might even be done for the day!

Otherwise I would tell him to g*t st*ff*ed as it is not just a woman's job to clean the house and make it clean.

I too have felt the depressive thoughts reappear a bit and found doing a HHCx4 helped me focus on something else for a while and not dwell on how I felt.

Sorry can't remember any more, all the washing is done as is the ironing, have hoovered all through downstairs inc. the sofa and chairs so don't feel too bad about being out most of the day tomorrow, I do however need to do the dinner dishes xx

Today I've also walked the dog, sorted out the chickens (will tuck them up for the night later), made a loaf in BM, cut the grass (well some of it, there is rather alot!) and other bits and pieces....

Hello everyone. Had my mum staying last week. It was lovely but I can now relax!

Summermoon- big hug for you. Have you heard of the books - 'Living with a black dog' and 'I had a black dog' They very simply tell depression how it is. If you are on meds can you call your doc and ask if you should up your dose for a while? Maybe ask your GP about seeing the practice counsellor. There is plenty of support out there but can be a bit hard to find.

Another site...wont let me do links is moodjuice...........very good.
