Still odd though !

Was out last night, spilt the taxi home with a couple of friends and started drinking before I went out so it was alot cheaper than my old nights out. Would have got the bus home but at 3 in the morning Im not that brave.

Not spent too much this week although there have been a few of expenses I could have gone with out

My shopping recently has been paid for with birthday money (21st are real money spinners lol) its gone on a few bits of clothing i needed and a couple of dresses I wanted

Still waiting on any reply about my tax rebate, no idea what happens after i have sent them my letter and docs so going to phone tomorrow.

Waiting on a cheque for my old mobile phone being recycled.

Also got a sample from pinecone so another wee payment from them and also they have emailed me to say i can now get paid by paypal so gonna start saving that money up.

Not happy with my finances the now but next month should be better as I have done overtime in my work, so thatll get paid next month.

Also forgot to say, the date went well, he asked me out again.

Having a terrible day, dont want to do anymore debt stuff. Its just too much each month. I have DD coming out on Mon and not enough money to cover them. Birthday plans have gone right out the window because i dont want to go. Also had a red letter from the electric company because i couldnt pay before this friday coming and they have said i need to pay immediately and its dated over a week ago !? I have just got the letter and now im in a panic that my electric is going to get cut off.

Cancel the direct debit with online banking and make a payment by bank transfer or cash over the counter that you can afford instead. The electricity won't cut you off - that takes ages - usually goes to the debt department first, but they are often OK if you get in touch ASAP. Again, make a part payment of whatever you can manage: ideally ring them up and say you have only just received the letter.

Ok so not written in a few days.

A little update - Will be earning a little bit more at work because of a few changes. It doesnt look like much more on my payslip because I have two jobs but I think at the end of the year a little tax rebate would be on the cards again.

Speaking of tax, finally phoned the tax office to confirm they have all the docs to process my rebate. The woman was really helpful and said that she would email the team who are responsible for the process and they would send a letter and a cheque. She also said I am roughly owed a bit over £400. My calculators were about right ! Quite happy about that but she did say because of a back log it could take up to 8 weeks from now.

I have checked my bank account and it is looking better than I thought it would but then again I have a feeling that I am forgetting something because there seems to be too much left after the bills come out during next week. Either way I have enough to pay the bills just the amounts left over differ from what I think and what will actually be there.

Saved in paypal from Pinecones - 6.00, waiting on another 3 going in though. I want to save 30 before I move in into my account.
Waiting on the cheque for my old mobile coming aswell, have emailed them and they have said it has been issued and I should get it within the next few days. Should be about £20 I think.

I am a little bit annoyed. My credit card limit has INCREASED by £250 ! I have been making over payments so they obviously want me to start spending on it again. I want to be a saver not a spender so that isnt really helping me by tempting me, I do think it is a nice safety net for emergency use though. It will be my emergency card when I am debt free. Thats the plan.

My signature will be updated soon with the new debt figures. I cant wait until Sept when I will have my overdraft down to a very small amount !
