You have come so far in such a short time!! If you could shave a little off a few other outgoings next month - join a couple of challenges? - you'd hardly notice the presents I am sure. I bet the thing your mum would like most is a whole day with her daughter being pampered: favourite food cooked/ bath run/ cups of tea or wine/ fave DVD and choccies etc. Most mums love to boast to their friends about how great their kids are!! ;)

Ye my mum would like that but getting a time when we are both off work is hard, as i work late afternoon til quite late at night and most weekends. Also we havent even managed to book holiday days off at the same time because both our works are really short staffed.

Hi Claire - just seen your post.....do you not think that £32 for a dress + p&p is quite a lot? (*says very quietly*)

Why don't you have a look at Primark or New Look this weekend if you still want something? I think the dresses are quite a lot cheaper in there?

But Mel that one is so pretty...

I usually get motel dresses or lipsy at 50/60 so REALLY im being very good at only spending 32...

Also i took back a few things to topshop that i bought last week (more than 50) because they were impluse buys and i dont really need them for an occassion. The dress on the other hand I can wear for a few birthday nights I have coming up, also decided that I will pay more to my credit card this month instead of overdraft.

Will update my figures on monday
  • I seem to have money all over the place that I can claim yet  Will be good when I reach the totals and get my cheques/payments into my account.

    Paypal - £3.00
    Dubit - £10.00
    YouGov - £9.25
    OnePoll - £8.85
    Valued Opinions - £4.45
Scratch cards are at £2.00 & £1.55 (only started them during the week so quite pleased with that)

Paid electric bill (didnt leave it ages this time!)
When all bills are paid and the amounts to debt that I always try to pay Ill have £80 for the start of the month til payday of my other job.

Mel do you have contacts at asos, my usual size doesnt fit anymore :p ordered dress and it came very quickly and my neighbour gave me it today. Its too big though so its going back, the smaller size wont fit at the bust or hips so thats me getting my money back :(

Claire - you are spot on. I rang my dressmaker friend and told her to alter your dress (*evil laugh*). Some people would call this fate - but I would never be so unkind.... :rotfl:
