ah ha ! Thank you fire fox
Im going to start switching next month, I am a little bit short for what Im guessing my next bill will be so ill have to wait for that being paid off. I might use my savings. I want toget away from them quickly, they have been nothing but trouble the last few months making mistakes all the time !0 -
So... had an awful awful day. Did barely anything productive until about an hour ago when i started working out next months finances.
After paying all the bills which total £895 (includes overdraft payment, loan, double glazing & credit card) and paying my mum back £30 leaves me with £85 til my next weeks pay.
Im putting my savings to the gas and electric (after them messing up so much i have been behind, dont like them !) ill still owe 100 to gas account and 85 to electric. I can maybe pay another £15 to one of them but I will need to see how much other work I can fit in for next month because im predicting that ill be short on money by the end of next month.0 -
Also quick question, can I use quidco to get my new mobile from orange although I am an existing customer or is it new customers only ?0
-
New customers, as you need to complete the entire transaction online.
Read the threads on the phone boards before you start negotiating a new phone. I pay £12 a month for my contract from Orange, but apparently there are £5 a month deals to be had if you push hard enough!! :eek:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Got paid today, also made arrangements for a lodger for nov, dec and jan (maybe longer) so that will help me alot. Going to put their share of the bills straight to my debt.
Phoned orange as they messed up my bill for this month, going to look a few other deals up on the internet and see where I can get the most out of it.
Done my first pinecone survey, have put in my paypal address so see what happens there.0 -
Oh dear, bad bad weekend. Broke up with the bf after a year and a half. Fun times...
Spend far too much on chocolate which my mum has now given me back and also another supply of chocolate. My friends have started to rally round for nights out so the debt free plan is kinda going out the window as Id prefer to be happy that debt free faster.0 -
After a few days of being a little unhappy, im alright (for the most part).
Haven't spent that much on things I dont need (obviously chocolate and crisps were of total importance)
Paid next week so not long to go and ill be past the half way mark for my overdraft0 -
I'm really sorry to hear about the break-up, Claire. Relationships can be so shockingly fragile. Chocolate definitely of much importance. Take it easy and maybe just edge into a routine again. Now: off-set mortgage *up-and-running*...

Sorr yo to hera about your break up. Great to hear your friends are all rallying round and I think you have the right to let things slip a bit while you have a bit of fun to cheer yourself up.0

Ok so didnt really do anything productive yesterday except have a laugh with my friends and spent money on MORE food, i might actually get up a dress size if im lucky and fill out in the right places and not my thighs =P
Worked all today and also got offered a job I have yet to apply for (complicated story that may get me into trouble with my current work if shared so just to be on the safe size ill keep quiet for now =P) which did cheer me up quite a bit.
Worked out how many days off my work i have and how much overtime i can do, if i get shifts for all the days i want then ill be pretty well off next month.
Rec'ed my £3 worth of vouchers from pinecones. Might give them to my mum and put the £3 into my account because shell use them, ill just waste them on chocolate.
Off work tomorrow so im going to gut the house and do all the cleaning. Help me clear my head a bit.0
