Its insane !

Please correct me if I am wrong though. I am contracted to 20 hours a week, this equals 1040 a year, 12 paydays, paid for 86.7 hours a month. Correct ? So from this conclusion anything above 86.7 hours a month would be paid at overtime. How is this confusing to management when they explained it to me, clearly it was acceptable for them to tell me the information as long as i dont use it to be paid the hours i work.

Fire Fox thats the thing, the management just says "payroll explained it to me, but ill ask about it again." then leaves. What exactly are they getting told that Im not !? Also if this isnt the case then why have they paid me overtime every other month and they better be paying me this month for it, got nearly 30 hours worth.

On a more positive note, i did get paid double for working the english bank holiday, even though i live and work in scotland... This must be another scam my other work is polling to make more money out of their clients but since i benefit this time i dont mind.

Good news on the double-time bank hol.
Bad news on the 30hours u have yet to get paid. I would be infuriated. I think you should ask to speak to payroll! Grr. All that time and theyre trying to rip you off. Just dont give in. *hugs*

If I can get another £100 into my account by the end of the month ill still be in a positive balance after paying all the bills, the overdraft and after having paid the factors and my mum ! Im very impressed with myself this month.

At the moment it stands that ill have £651 after paying the above. I havent included the money i believe my work owes me (which i know they do !).

Then pay for the gas and ill still have £440, more likely to be 400 because of my little bit of spending that i expect will happen !

Im excited this month. Then i can decide what to do with that money. The end of the overdraft tunnel is near.

10 hours for last month is what they are saying i am not owed. 30 hours is what i am expecting within this months wage, they will be paying this or ill be :mad: at them.

I dont blame you! And Im glad that there is light at the end of the overdraft tunnel!!
