  • Productive = money, which is in need.

I might actually get to a positive balance at the end of the month before the bills come out. Havent seen that in years (literally!)
  • Awww. Yay that would be good!

  • Not having a great time with work, im positive i have been underpaid for last months wage and they are saying that I havent been underpaid. Frustrating ! I am trying to get my manager to explain to me how he has worked this out.

Another extra shift booked in, working alot of hours but I really do need the money to keep coming in. Especially if my other work are saying that im not getting paid for overtime !
  • How annoying! Keep pushing them to show you how they worked it out. Do you keep your own records of what you have done? Maybe show them how you have worked our your figures and see if they disagree - might be quicker than waiting for them?
Glad to hear you are getting so much work - more work = extra money = less time to spend it = happy debt free Claire??

Have you had a chance to speak to anyone about your windows yet as well? (Not that you are not busy enough!)

    Paying down the mortgage:
    At 1 October 2011: £226,000
    Currently: £224,499
    Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
    Paid £1,500
    Target remaining: 88.89%
  • I keep a detailed diary for my shifts at work and my personal life (because im oh so busy...) and i have already given him a copy of my shifts to check and hes still disagreeing. Clearly hes deluded.

Not had a chance to look into the windows but I did get a letter today which thanked me for using their automated telephone system (i didnt i spoke to a very unhelpful person) and they are now saying my balance is £2992. Which is less than when i called up. They said 3070 or something - 65 would be 3060 (roughly) my current balance if they werent talking crap. So really its 2992 but i cant check this because they keep messing me around !
  • Aww how annoying about the work! Seems like at times you have to fight for everything don't you!! Hope he gets his head around it and sorts you out your money soon!! Well done on all the extra hours - it's the best way to debt bust!!

Ye im trying to be polite about it but really i want to say to him "come on sort it out ya *insert rude word here*"

Oh and on the factor front, they are claiming i AGREED to having things done to my close to the cost of 500 to me ! I have requested they prove it.
  • I can think of a few words to go there :)

  • At the moment by the end of the month after paying all the bills, paying overdraft and gas arrears ill have £435 left in my account. Although still have a few weeks of travel to pay and also a little bit of food shopping today but ill have at least £350 (i hope) still in my account. This is taking into consideration that I may not see the money that work owes me.

It never ceases to amaze me how some very successful companies can be truly incompetent. They make all sort of outrageous claims - you owe this or agreed that or they have done so and so - which cannot possibly be backed up as they are absolute twaddle. I can only assume that a lot of people back down and don't challenge their assertions.
