Right then, why are my radishes rubbish? They're French Breakfast radishes, which are meant to be all long, and ready weeks ago.

But they're all small and disappointing. It's not like they haven't had enough flippin' rain! Do I keep waiting, plant new ones, or what?
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Radishes like a consistent amount of water.

There was (a dim distant memory now) a dry spell and that would have affected them. If you sowed some a few weeks ago they will be perfect.

All my radishes bolted and now waiting for the next lot.

What are you complaining about your radishes for? You are supposed to eat them small, when they get too big, those ones go all woody. They look perfect to me.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
  • It all looks quite good. Your tomatoes are much begger than mine, and have lots more flowers on.
Your beetroot doesn't look like mine. Mine has red stalk and red and green leaves. I will have to put a photo up. Perhaps mine is not beetroot.

Ahh...or perhaps I said the beetroot were on the wrong side. They're red & green too. I'm slowly getting red tomatoes now - I seem to be growing mostly cherry tomatoes.

Is the container deep enough you are growing them in? The deeper the root can go the better. ;)

Ahh, there you go then, that's your problem, you're like adolescent girls looking at catwalk models and "enhanced" magazine models.
In other words, they aren't real. They are the best of the best, grown and enhanced/prettied for the camera, real world ain't like that, stop looking at what they should be like and enjoy what you have :D

Non moved one are much smaller with fewer fruits.
