I shall go and look on the website.............ah ha, found them. Oatland Biscuit Co Oaties
Do a taste test - they are really really nice CLICKY LINK and only 45p a packet.
Thank you, I popped into a small Tesco, and they didn't have those. Will check next time I'm in a larger one. Sainsbury's has Hobnobs reduced to about 41p at the mo!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi :hello:
I have now tried the sainsbury's basics cornflakes (46p) and the discount brand tesco ones (79p) and found them both to be ok.
They are slightly more "thick" as in Kellogs ones are very light but I liked them both, thanks for all your suggestions :T
Lidl's weetabix - is it the big box ones that are nice? With about 72 weetabix in it for approx £2.89? Alot of posts on this board say this is really good too..This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Tesco ones are nice. Aldi ones even nicer still. Last month McVities hob nobs were on offer and I bought packet. So disappointed. Couln't wait to finish them so I could return to the Aldi version which is much nicer.0 -
Am now on my second box of Sainsbury's Basics cereal, and am impressed! The best thing I found was when I got towards the bottom of my first box there were actual cornflakes to be found, unlike in Kellogs when there is just the dust like crumbs :T
At 46p they are definately a bargain.. Haven't yet to try the other alternatives yet - are these one of the cheapest? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
There are now no Kelloggs cornflakes left in our house - replaced totally by Sainsbugs basics ones. And if you knew how vehement my missus has always been in insisting on Kelloggs and no other brand you'd be amazed as I am.
 46p for 500g is an absolute steal. 75% cheaper than the equivalent sized Kelloggs version. And they come in a box (unlike Asda's smartprice ones).

Tesco's value cornflakes are horrible on their own, however if you mix them with something else (such as Aldi's oat muesli cereal) you can't taste them really and they bulk out the more expensive stuff. I do this every day at work and it's really tasty! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

I buy Asda cornflakes and Lidls weetabix
Are these called Bixxies? I got a box of 48 for £1.99 from Lidls - haven't tried them yet..This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I think they had the bixxies in 72 aswell as 48. The small pack was a different brand. I can't wait to try themThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
