    Just spoke to a very nice lady in Customer Services who confirmed I have been given a VIP slot but was unable to say when they were going out. :confused:

    Oh dear I can see a few days being spent on the laptop constantly refreshing to see when that email comes through! Oh well at least I'll get some ironing done while I'm doing it. :A

    So I take it you cannot book the earliest slot available this year, they are giving you your time via email. Thats a pain, because I really wanted the 1st slot. By the time I get my email the only slots left are the Friday night. I usually manage to get the 1st slot by keeping an eye on here and going straight to the VIP page as soon as it is open. This must be to do with the new sign in by email. they are making it more difficult for us to bypass the system lol

    i think the lady on the phone manually booked me the first slot - i dont think her computer had randomly allocated me a slot at all and it happened to be the first one. The email was just confirming what she had done on her system.
    Why dont you give the customer services a ring?
    if they wont give you a slot when you ring, then im sure when the emails are sent tomorrow, there will still be loads of the first time slot available! they let loads of people have each time slot dont they.

    ive got the link to it in my confirmation email, but when i click on it it says 'coming soon' so it mustnt have been made 'live' yet

    I've just rung Customer Services again and the lady I spoke to manually booked my slot for me.

    She didn't offer at first but when I pushed a little (very nicely of course )and said I had read somewhere that slots were being booked she had a look and said 6pm - 7pm was available and would I like her to book it for me.

    Had the confirmation email straight afterwards. I guess it just depends who you get on the phone but I would definitely try ringing them again.

    I've just phoned and booked my slot for Weds 15th at 6.30-7.30 pm, I was told that the first slot will be from 6.00 but I won't get back from work in time.

    All I said was that I always get an email invite (true) but that this year they were having technical problems and the emails had been delayed so I had been told to phone up customer services to book over the phone. She went off to check with a colleague and then came back and said no problem I can do that for you now.

    Have recieved the email conifrmation but the listing link isn't working yet.
