Yes I booked mine about 12 ish but saying that I have not yet had an email however I need to check my other account...

Basically I rang as Im having a few problems with the email addy that was registered so first thing this morning I changed it to me 2nd account, it was showing as my 2nd email account on my Next Account page but wanted to check. The girl said on their records its not my new email, I said is it still **** and she said yes it will update tomorrow, I said OK Im just worried about missing the VIP invite and she said well you have been allocated and I can book you a slot now if you like I said ooo yes please your ever so kind and she said its starts on Wed at 6pm we have a few time slots left 6-7 so I said yes I would take one please, she said right thats been booked in and you will receive an email confirmation, I said to which address and she said your new one.............

I was thinking hmm you just said my new one isnt on the system though, anyway Ive checked me "new" one and no confirmation, I cant access my other one at the min as work have it blocked so will check that one later, if there is no confirmation on there I suspect it wasn't "authorised" and I rang a little to late when they were stopping the slot bookings!!

Its a case of wait and see for me now, fingers crossed!

if you log into your account it usually says on there the slot youve been given, is it showing there?

Tried ringing twice too and got told that they shouldn't have released the slots yet. Both said i had been given a VIP slot but had to wait until the E-Mails were out tomorrow to book one. I asked what time they would be sent out as i was working from 10am and got told in the morning.....fingers crossed!!

No it doesnt but im not sure if that makes a difference yet as they have put noting live so to speak as someone else stated although they got the email they couldnt link to the sale it just goes to the coming soon page, so my guess would be that nothing is on the accounts yet either (my thinking is if this is the case we would all beable to see we are VIPs by now like they can on thier system if this is how it works) but I could be wrong....perhaps someone who has received the confirmation email now can log on to their account and let us know if they can see anything in there yet?

Just did, and No! Dont think it will go live untill they start sending out emails.

They told me that they didnt know if I had a slot as he has no access to that information. He also said he couldnt allocate me one and no one had been - which I obviously very nicely told him was not right.
Trouble is half the flippin time people get these slots and buy loads and sell on ebay, which annoys the heck out of me !
I have never had a slot but with 4 daughters spend loads here all year long !
Never mind if the email dont come and I suspect it wont then it looks like they all getting out of bed early on Saturday morning !! The look on their faces at 4.30am is worth its weight in gold !!

Yeah thats what I figured!! Fingers crossed she has sent the confirmation to my other account and its come through otherwise although the words "right 6pm-7pm on Wed has been confirmed for you and you will receive an email shortly" were spoken they must of crossed over with her managers going "huh why is everyone allocating slots...dont think so stop them all" and she quickly deleted my slot before she got in bother lol

Oooo just thought they do have a TON of numbers to ring, maybe were all getting through to different call centers??

Re the buying and selling on ebay thing, I know what you mean, I got a VIP last time but by time I got email was one of the last slots, pretty much EVERYTHING I had lined up to snag (for myself OH & DS I may add not for ebay) was gone and litterally a month later I saw a flood of Next Clothes brand new with tags advertised on the Bay! grrrr ita a bit irritating isnt it!!

true people do put loads on ebay! annoys hell out of me as i only buy what I need. Ive finally got a vip invite but am worried now ill end up with a crap slot as if its not on the first day a lot has gone because of the greedy people. or this is what it was like last 2 sales when I blagged a vip slot lol

Saying that though last time even though 90% of the stuff I wanted last time had gone I still managed to spend £400 on a ton of other stuff I had not picked the first time round ha ha so you might be alright - Im sure you will find some stuff even if you get a later slot
