    home today and a card through door saying they tried to deliver but n oone home will try again tomorrow. but of course im working tomorrow also. it must be a new delivery guy as the last one always put them in the shed

    I received 14 bags yesterday - I had doubled up on a lot of sizes, so over half went back this morning via courier, so there should be lots of size 12 and 14 items going back on in the next few days!!!!! Another 4 bags arrived today and I am only keeping 3 items. I done really well this time - ordered £1300, but hopefully 2/3 of this will be going back or DH will go crazy!!!!:j

    I got 3 letters through today to say 3 items that were on delay are no longer available in the warehouse so have been cancelled but didnt say what these items were and Next customer service insisit nothing is showing as unavailable!?

    Was also told over half of my order is now on delay when it was all in stock when I ordered. I suspect this is due to the credit department holding my order and the fact im with UPS so my instock items have gone to customers who it was on delay with as I had 1 of the first VIP slots!

    Hi

    I placed my order over the telephone due to the website problems, I had a slot on the first day at 9.00. At the time of ordering only a few of the items were on delay of 2 weeks, some had alreading sold out but the majority maybe 30 or 40 items I was told were in stock with a delivery time of 3 - 4 days. I have still not received any items so rang customer services today to check, only to be told that all of my items are delayed upto 2 weeks!!
    I'm not impressed I have never had this problem before and I always get a VIP slot.
    I wondered if there is any chance of these items arriving, in my experience I have never yet had any item delivered that has been delayed by more than a week. I wondered what experience anyone else had about these delays, and if there is any chance of me getting any of my sale items.

    In the last sale I got all my items that were delayed by 3-4 weeks, but some of them didn't turn up until 7 - 8 weeks later. I normally get most of them with 1 or 2 missing.

    I ordered one of the magazine subscriptions through the sale. Went online to redeem it and it had already been redeemed! Some cheeky so and so must have ordered it before the sale,used the code and then returned it to Next. They have accepted it back but not impressed!

    Ive only had a few items on delay arrive which is whats annoying me about my dealyed items. Ive got email confirmation showing theyre not delayed so if I dont get them Im going to be making a strong complaint as its big items I really need

    Some of my items are on a 2-4 week delay. I asked if this was because they were waiting for other customers to return them but they said they 'waiting for the stock into the warehouse':confused:

    Thank you for the replies, I think I'm a bit suspicious, I find it hard to believe that all of my items which were in stock at the time about 30 - 40 items are now delayed!

    I have emailed next for clarification explaining that I had ordered amongst other things a sat nav, which had it showed as being on delay I would have worked my way through the other models as I didn't mind which one I bought and found one that wasn't delayed.

    I have had a reply from next saying that they are on a temporary delay, however I have had to email them again asking for clarification of the difference between a 2 week delay and a temporary delay!

    I do wonder if this is related to the technical problems the website had and if they need to sort out where they are with orders before they dispatch some items.
