Must admit the quality of a lot of it doesn't look very good. I usually buy loads when I go instore after doing a VIP slot, but this time, all I got was a couple of birthday cards & some gift boxes. I saw a lot of the stuff I have on order, & they will be going back as soon as they arrive now I've seen what they look like:o I've got some black wedge sandals coming, in the picture they have a bow on which I assumed was in the same canvas fabric, but when I saw them instore I saw the bow was actually a bit of cheap polyester type fabric, looked really cheap & nasty. I sent a watch back because it was absolutely enormous on my wrist, I'm not particularly petite but this strap was far too long for me. My husband did well though & my daughters things are lovely, just seems to be me thats hard to please lol.0 -
Next Clearance shops have upto 75% off (hate the word upto). I think thats what Next Clothes are worth as the material quality does not justify the cost IMHO - particularly childrens clothes which are vat free! anyway.
Was in clearance shop on Sunday and didn't see anything. There was no-one at the tills so I wasn't the only one who thought that. Used to leave the sale with 4 0r 5 big carrier bags full. DD saw a couple of things but were still dear like tops at £10.00. Almost no shoes out on sale. Used to always go in when I was in the area but have stopped that. Same styles for years now and dearer than competition.
Used to bitterly complain about the mess but it is so tidy now as no-one is buying and the shop has much less stock.0 -
if you had a VIP slot on Wed and couldnt fully check out, you might still get the order delivered. My wife gave up after trying for an hour and a half and phoned the order in the following day most of it was out of stock. today she received an email to say the items from the VIP slot were being dispatched. what a mess.0

Some of the things make me laugh floral beach dresses lovely for a young girl but no girl over the age of 12 i know would ever wear such a thing. Also things like High School Musical bikinis in age 15-16, is it any wonder they are left for sale!!! I have always thought that the age range is far too wide and perhaps they should have perhaps a 4-11 and an 11-16 instead. I'd say at least 70 % percent of the girls clothes aren't suitable for teenagers meaning that at least 30% are not suitable for younger children. Any thoughts?
Totally agree with you. My daughter is 13 and there's no way she'd be seen wearing Next clothes.0 -

Just wondered if you've received anything yet? Seems a bit strange. I've received 90% of my Wednesday order now. Have you called Next?0 -
I must say I have had an all round very positive experience this sale and I have had the opposite experience regarding the quality and choice of clothes. I got a VIP post last Wed and although I ended up having to order it over the phone, I got most of what I had wanted (about £600) and about ¾ of it arrived yesterday. Out of about 60 items, I am only returning 3! I was over the moon with my things although 90% of it was for my kids. I have 2 girls over 10 and they got loads of casual clothes and tights jeans etc and my other 2 kids who are under 3, got lovely things including Converse and Nike trainers. I also got some homeware items for xmas presents and have put them away until Dec. I buy all year round for the kids from Next, not just in the sales and just love their stuff. Sad but true…0

Oh that's great. At least you know your order went through OK without any problems. I've received 2 sets of curtains for my living room but I can't decide which ones I like best. I've asked the opinion of 2 of my friends and my mum but they've just made me more confused :rotfl::rotfl:0
