    Thanks, but I think I've just noticed that their offers are only on long term contracts, not 30 dayers. Bah!

    Sorry, being a bit thick now - can't see where it says 30 days. The T & C's at the bottom for Pay Monthly say you need a 12/18mth contract??

    What can I use my minutes and texts for?
    The airtime in your package can be used to make calls and send texts to any UK mobile network, any time! Calls to landlines (that's numbers beginning 01, 02 and 03) are included too, but calls to call forwarding services aren't included.

    Legal Stuff
    Eligibility: These mobile tariffs are only available to Virgin Media customers who subscribe to at least one of the following Virgin Media national or cable services: television, residential phone or broadband (the "Services"). If you no longer subscribe to any of the Services you will not be eligible to receive the exclusive tariffs. You will then revert to the standard Virgin mobile tariff closest in value to your tariff the month after your Services end or at the end of any fixed term contract you have entered into for the mobile services.
    Pay Monthly Contract: Paper bill charge is £1.25 per month. 12 or 18 month Virgin Pay Monthly contract required. If you cancel during the minimum contract period you will incur an early disconnection fee. Terms and conditions for the Virgin mobile Pay Monthly service apply. Subject to payment by direct debit and UK credit check. Unlimited texts subject to a fair use policy of 3000 texts per month. Unlimited Virgin to Virgin calls subject to a fair use limit of 3000 minutes per month. Cannot be combined with any other Virgin offer/promotion except where explicitly stated. Monthly cross network airtime can be used to make UK originating calls and texts to UK landlines (that’s numbers beginning 01, 02 and 03) or UK mobile networks (excluding call forwarding services). Virgin minutes can be used for UK originating calls and texts to Virgin mobiles in the UK. Calls to local and national rate, and 0500 / 0800 freephone numbers, cost no more than 15p per minute from Virgin mobile phones in the UK. Delivery charge of £4.88 applies.     Pay As You Go Addict tariff: Free texts, web access and minutes will be added on the first day of the month following the top-up and are valid for one month. UK use only. Excludes premium rate services. Unlimited texts subject to fair use policy of 3000 texts per month. Unlimited web access subject to fair use policy of 25MB per day (for 30p) or 1GB per month (for £20 top up). Unlimited Virgin minutes subject to fair use policy of 3000 minutes per month.     Got it, thanks for that. I was looking all over and it said 'no long contract to sign, but couldn't see 30 days anywhere!

    So it looks like by using Virgin you get T-Mo's 3G network, better inclusive minutes etc than T-Mo's Solo sim, as well as free voicemail which T-Mo charge you for - am I right?

    T-Mobile have to support a network structure, Virgin dont.

    Virgin can afford to make minimal revenue on a min, T-Mob cant.

    You wouldn't happen to know if you can order more than 1 SIM as an existing customer would you? Given that you get inclusive virgin-virgin minutes, it would make sense to get my better half a new sim too, so we can talk to each other pretty much free!
