could you not put all that in one post ?? lol

I'd say o2/t-mobile are best in terms of value for money, ive just gone from t-mobile to orange though just because they were more reliable when i was with them last.
This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.

T-Mobile Solo 20 is pretty good
600 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet. It's a 30-day rolling contract, so you can get out of it easily

Is there voicemail with that though?

What problems don't you get ? 3 contract is defo a no-no, but prepaid is no tie in & better than 3 contract now unless you need the unlimited landlines on 3's top plan @ £27 a month. The new plan extras beat the UK market.

Never once had anything go wrong with 3 payg, never had to call customer services & that's EXACTLY why I never had a problem once, no india interactions - NO WORRIES ! ;)

I dont use my phone a lot, but I do want Internet access with voice and text.

Im considering getting 3's £10 Sim monthly deal which gives me 100 mins and unlimited texts, Id also be getting the £5 addon every couple months for the 150 MB internet access.
Id be getting pretty much all I need for under £15 a month.
Can anyone spot any fatal flaws in my cunning plan?

Yes you will only get free 150MB on payg, not monthly sim.

    2 choices on monthly sim.

    Internet Max Add-on
Gives you 1GB which is the equivalent of about 100,000 mobile web pages - so it’s pretty much unlimited surfing. You also get unlimited Email on 3 (personal and work email accounts) for free with this Add-on. £5

    or

    Internet 10 Add-on
Gives you 10MB of internet data which is the equivalent of about 1,000 mobile web pages. You also get unlimited personal Email on 3 for free with this Add-on. If you want your work email too, you need to get an Internet Max Add-on instead of Internet 10.

    £2.50 per month

So with £10 sim & internet max, you will still be £15

Lol, I wasnt overly specific, was I?

If you want to make a post quoting more than one post, you need to open both posts by clicking on their quote button, then copying all the text in there and pasting it into message box you intend to use to reply.

    Pity.

Its still cheaper than anything else I've found though.

aaaaaahhhhhhhhh ! LOL , I'm used to multi quote button on other forums! I'm quite internet savvy aswell ( @ least I thought I was ) after 10 years use !

Everyday you are a day wiser, you learn something new everyday ontop and
    the wiser you are !

    Thanks Don!

Thing is 3's rate per MB is unknown, I know its 10p per MB on Mobile Broadband over allowance, wonder if same rate applies to payg data/internet usage on contract ?

Pay Monthly SIM Only 100 T&C

Offer available for a limited time from 3 stores to new approved customers registering on a SIM only 1 month rolling contract whilst customer remains on promoted price plan. Inclusive calls for UK to standard UK landlines beginning 01, 02, 03 and UK mobiles and texts sent in the UK to standard UK mobiles. NTS calls excluded from bundle and the maximum cost of NTS call (beginning 08) is 15p connection plus 15p per min. See three.co.uk/nts. 3 calls are 3 to 3 UK only. SIM only to be used in 3G handsets. SIM will be disconnected if used in a 2G handset and you will still be charged for the contract. 1 months notice required to terminate contract. If you want to upgrade your SIM Only 100 contract, we'll need to carry out another credit check. If, for any reason, you don't pass the credit check, you won't be able to re-apply for an upgrade for another 90 days. Your handset may be required to be unlocked by another network before you can use your 3 SIM. Unlock fees may be charged. Service limitations and terms apply. See instore or three.co.uk.

Im considering moving over to 3.
What problems did you have with them?

Abysmal customer service, flaky network coverage despite my whole region shown as full 3G/3.5G coverage, dropped calls moving between masts/cells, outgoing emails stopped so forcing you to use their email service even though I have a data package, no 2G data when you move onto their partner network - I probably don't need to go on.....

Thanks for the other posts guys - I think it looks as if O2 and T-Mo are pretty similar deals. T-Mo don't include voicemail, even if you have minutes left which is soooo last century, but seem to have a slightly better 3G/3.5G network??

I have seen that as an existing Virgin cable user for internet, I get some better deals from Virgin Mobile. I know they use T-Mo network so does everything on Virgin work the same - full data access to 3G/3.5G etc?
