Rich, that's so cool - thanks for that post, I'm printing it out to stick up in the kitchen! So encouraging. I haven't even been looking at my heart rate, but yes, yesterdays average was 156bpm, compared to 146bpm the day before, so it definitely was harder (not just the mental challenge!), but I improved time anyway - so - all's good for Bevs progress!!!0

Ummmm dont shout but lunarglides - ooooo drools after reviews on RW forum
Might go try some on Friday after work:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
But why??????
You hear this bumph every time any company releases a new shoe...isnt that what marketing is about?
'Its a miracle, it makes running soooo much easier and stops me getting injured any more' etc - usually coming from an employee or associate of the manufacturing company who has popped out for all of a 3 mile run.
Oooo and they grip in the wet!!!:p Might be useful if you're used to falling over every time it rains!:rotfl::rotfl:
Get some next year when they're £20 and they've moved on to the next new thing!;)

Ah well these are guys who have been for 13 mile runs in them I wasnt keen on them at all until I read about 20 good reviews - because I've been rolling my ankle over when tired in races I'd like to try them out anyway and maybe keep them for longer runs and races0

You go try them Becky - guys just don't like change, or spending money - ha ha! Shame you can't really try shoes before you spend so much on them.0
-
Not today though as I'm going for lunch with my boss
Anyway they may be rubbish - might try them at Nike but buy them from Sweatshop as its a months return there (god they are good!)0 -
wow - that is a good deal. So, sweatshop are the way to buy? Hmm, maybe I'll try some new asics on in store and buy from sweatshop then!0

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Read the reviews - they're pretty much all men.
But more tellingly, they seem to know the ins and outs of every running shoe on the market virtually - a slight suspicion that they are serial fallers for the marketing hype??????:p
When you've heard the same old bumph hundreds of times it does become a little 'so whattish' and the best strategy remains to buy last year's hot new thing! It still does what it did last year!;)

Thats weird my 'in play' box hasnt updated - arghhhhh too slow
I know I am only going to try them...we will see what they are like but I want to know now0 -
Hmm, probably a bit like the book reviews I do for Waterstones, they will not allow a negative review! If you refuse to rave, they just don't publish a review at all!0
