hi got it going in safe mode but it says that windows installer is not available in safe mode when i click on the link for superantispyware0
-
in this safe mode i am able to access the task manager and network sharing centre--- i dont understand computers at all. Thankyou so much for all your help and patience. Shall i see if it will restart now?0

Ill be honest. Im baffled as to whats wrong. Id guess the trojans have done 'something' to your operating system (Which means its beyond help unless you have the original operating disc?)
Im also baffled as to why your struggling to log in normally
Also ~ it SHOULD install via safe mode so just about everything we throw at it is thwarted
If you can get CCLEANER running (safe mode or normal mode)
Download CCLEANER (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ make sure YAHOO TOOLBAR is unticked on installation)
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Run the CLEANER scan
Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)
Then goto TOOLS and STARTUP and untick the lot (Which means it will start as normal but without any unncessary drivers etc). Then reboot and see what happens:idea:0 -
I have got the disc that came with the laptop- its blue, windows vista - windows anytime upgrade0

i didnt do the disc thing, i couldnt get it to work0 -
possibly ccleaner has removed a 'registry' that was sticking it:idea:0

task manager working, printer working, am abe to open network and sharing center.
Its like a miracle, i feel so happy. all seems well
As i delted the avg thing the other day i have no anti virus thing now. should i try and do that avira one from one of your previous links. Or should i not push my luck and leave it be??
You are clearly a computer genius, a magic man a legend!! Thankyou so much for all your help0 -
You MUST put an anti virus on. Try Avira again (Though id suggest waiting until all updates have finished)
Once its uinstalled update it and run a complete scan:idea:0
