When buying clothing off eBay: If it's vintage and the seller hasn't given any measurements I'll ask for them.
It's worth remembering that a 1970's size 12 is the equivalent to a modern day size 8 so don't ever go by the clothes size given in the listing if that's all the information given.
The only contemporary clothing I search eBay for is TopShop. I know that their sizes fit me well.

A bit chilly here today so put on my long cream/brown print dress from monsoon (free), white cardi (free) morgan tan suede jacket (via ebay £16.48). Wore for 2 hours with my white sandals and now have blisters again so changed into my tan ones (france £15/20?). The white ones will be sent to charity.

Have fun tonight Sharon, like the sound of the outfit.

workinmummy and SugarSpun- I see so many lovely maternity clothes around nowadays and when I was pregnant there was nothing.

Phudge - I go barefoot at home too especially in the summer. I love to stretch my toes out:D

MoneyQueen - I like the sound of your outfit, really bright and summery. I need some yellow but then that would ruin the capsule:confused:

prettypoppyknickers - I hope that you feel better now

goanmad - I have a suspicion that you have quite a few clothes;)Outfits sound great, would love to see pics

kizdeb - How's the tan progressing?

Kaz2904 - If they give you blisters, they gotta go!

verynewmoneysaver - that reminds me, I will get a new pair of combats for autumn

judgejaq - What colour is the mulberry?

Well, I have been a complete outfit bore and I am wearing the Top Shop dress that I wore on Wednesday with the red and beige/khaki flowers with bronzy sandals. Will try harder tomorrow as I have been so inspired by what you are wearing. It is just it is getting so hot now that I want to wear anything that feels cool and comfy.

Those of you who buy from ebay......do you buy items from shops that you are sure about the fit? I find sizes wildy vary so I am reluctant to part with my dosh if it's not going to fit me and I am then going to be lumbered with it.

Bitsy, this would make a really good subject for a new MS Fashion thread. It would be good to keep all the fashion from ebay tips together.
