  • Morning! Todays outfit of choice is Dark Blue denim jeans from New Look, Floral top with ruffles around the neck from Primark and a long black baggy Cardigan from Topman (couldn't find what I wanted in womens shops!). Oh and the obligatory black safety shoes with steel toes caps and my bright yellow Hi-Vis vest! Yes, I'm at work!

So am desperately trying not to wear the stuff I want to take on holiday.
So I am wearing another pair of blue jeans that I have folded into large cuffs at the bottom so they are cropped again.
£5 white vest from M&S with a white cardi with argyle type pattern on the front buttoned up in the most part (bought this from primark years ago!) and have folded back the sleeves so it's 3/4 length (can you spot a folding theme going on with me at the mo)
Shoes are a from Sainsburys and a casual deck shoe but are styled on the shape of a court shoe (IYSWIM?!)
wearing with a mother of pearl necklace that I had for my birthday from H and the kids.

I actually feel pretty good in this :o and even though it's not high end fashion I feel like I've made an effort which is something I have definately been lacking.
Thanks to you all contributing to this thread - it's making me think more about what I am wearing and best of all I am utilising stuff I never thought I'd really wear as the cardi was something dragged out for work.

There are some 'girls' posting here who have really got their act together and I'm looking on them for inspiration ........but you don't have to be young, skinny and high-end fashionable to be posting here....I'm certainly not!

I'm not going anywhere today but I am having lunch at home with my son (a rare thing because of his shifts). Probably not a good idea to wear white when cooking and especially grating red cabbage :D but this is what I am wearing today:

multicoloured A-line linen skirt - Monsoon. It's my favourite skirt. £15 from Ebay last year :money:

    white vest top

white 3/4 sleeve cardi bought from a Monsoon sale also last year

no shoes as I go barefoot at home!

    Hi All,

I am loving this thread and all the other ones recently started by OSers.. The only reason I am not posting on here is that I don't want anyone from work to identify me from my clothes. I was once reading some thread on OS board and a colleague commented that I must be tight...

I post on MFW and GIOL Boards so don't really want them to know my future plans/ savings/ monthly expenses etc.

I am sure some of my work colleagues are MSEers but no one speaks about it at work

I am proud to be an MSEer but don't want people to think me as tight or loaded...

These days I really think about what will look good on me and what will go with what

As I said earlier, I am loving this thread
