At work, but actually wearing trousers instead of jeans. Work in an office, but no such thing as a dress code.

Black stretchy pants (to accomodate 25 week pregnancy bump)
    - free, because bought by my mum.
White sleeveless top - £4 matalan
Black and white stripey v neck cardigan (top two buttons fastened only, because bump is in the way) - free again, thanks to my lovely mum
Black boots - £45 Next, bought last Autumn & wore practically every day as have lowish heel and comfy.

Only accessories, large silver ring - £3 matalan.

Thought I was looking ok today for a fat pregnant woman, but have just been asked by one of the blokes when i'm getting my roots done. I'm 5ft and they can all look down on me. Oops must be bad if the blokes notice.

How exciting to read about what you're all wearing. :j

Couldn't possibly do a capsule wardrobe (though I love the idea) as I'm addicted to car boots, jumble sales and chazza shops.

Today was a morning at the local car boot sale followed with an afternoon of sewing and working from home:

Mini shift dress made from a scrap of 1970's tribal printed satin £1 (jumble sale)
Brown wide elasticated TopShop belt with a chunky leather buckle 20p (car boot)
Black leggings with lace trim 10p (car boot)
Vintage brown leather cowboy boots (had for over 10 years)
Gilt pendant necklace with a tiny birdcage filled with birds £1 (Urban Outfitters sale)
Gilt chandellier earrings with cream stones (pressie)
7 chunky solid silver bangles (purchased in India over the years)
Huge Indian statement bangle, copper with silver mirrorwork £1 (car boot)
Massive silver and turquoise ring (bought in India)
Enormous silver tribal ring (bought in India)
Vintage tooled leather saddle bag - which I've taken off now! £1 (charity shop)

The jeans I was wearing are too long and need shortening so I decided the roll them up twice with big cuffs so they were more cropped. wore them like this with blue deck shoes (primark £4) and a tourquoise t shirt (round scoop neck) with a necklace with appropriate coloured beads etc.
OK not mega fashionable probably but since reading these threads I at least made the effort to do something about the length of the jeans (as I couldn't run round after the kids in 4 inch heels all day) and a necklace.
So for me that's been pretty good!!!!!

When I got up yesterday at 3 I put on my Boden wrap dress and my white cardigan.
I had a call from work asking me to go in early so at 6 I changed out of it again. I will therefore put that back on when I have to drag myself out of my jammies at 1pm for a poxy meeting!
Accessories, bright red toenails, silver watch and gold wedding & eternity rings.
Will wear with my white sandals so I can decide whether or not to keep them.

Right now I'm wearing royal blue scrubs which make me look fat, M&S silver thread mens socks with pink/green striped heels and toes and my mules.
I will only buy heel and toe socks for myself and DH and packs of different patterned style socks for the kids. I loathe sock sorting and this makes it easier. I think shops have cottoned on now because you can buy plenty of multipacks of non matching socks which all look the same with shoes on.

My problem is that I have to remember what socks I have worn to work the night before so that I don't go in for my next shift 12 hours later with the same socks on (after they've been through the wash!) otherwise people on the long day will think I'm a grubby moo!

  • Today the sun is shinning!!! Going food shopping and usual school run/dogs walked/laundry/housework, followed by a night with my friends and it may involve a couple of glasses of wine!!!

I'm wearing today, white linen trousers (next) long blue shirt(new look), silver high waisted belt, silver sandles, loopy silver earrings and my big shades.

    Catch you all later
