I love yellow with white in the summer.
I keep seeing people with lovely bright coloured vest tops with white linen trousers and flip flops or gladiator sandals and think it looks fab....gorgeous simple summery look............just need the weather to go with it:T0 -

Ohhhh! there's some lovely summery clothes going on today.
A hour's hydrotherapy class followed by 2 hours trawling the local market and charity shops with my mum.
I wore a vintage white linen angel-sleeved mini dress with blue folksy embroidery and a tie sash waist (cost me 20p from the car boot yesterday) along with some black leggings that finish mid-calf (Primark £3) and some tan leather ankle boots by Schuh with 6 inch heels and hidden platform sole (£5 from the seconds stall on the market). Accessories were a gilt Buddha pendant (Bay's closing down sale 80p), faux pearl and gilt grapevine earrings (my mum's from the 1970's), the usual Indian silver and turquoise rings and bangles and a big tan leather holdall with paisley silk patches (25p car boot sale)
Off to a punk gig in Birmingham tonight and am planning to wear:
TopShop vintage strapless knee-length teal dress, printed with peacocks and tropical flowers (£1.78 eBay), black opaque footless tights (Poundland), green 1970's elastic belt with enamel leaf buckle (10p car boot), vintage black waistcoat with Indian embroidery (£2.95 Help the Aged), black patent high heeled brogues (British Heart Foundation £3.50). Haven't decided on the bag or jewellery yet!0 -
Those of you who buy from ebay......do you buy items from shops that you are sure about the fit? I find sizes wildy vary so I am reluctant to part with my dosh if it's not going to fit me and I am then going to be lumbered with it.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
