I stand by what I said, maybe it's my suspicious nature, which is why I said "its bordering on spam".
You now have had a pop at me. And in answer to your question, yes, bperhaps you'd like to explain my bad advice, which basically is the experience I had with several companies, maybe yours was 1 of them?, and the prep work I did pre installation.:A
Look i didnt start posting to argue and nor did i come here to promote my business, i have a lot of experience in the stone industry and have seen the good the bad and ugly, i posted some thoughts that may have assisted some peeps. Im sorry i never mentioned names, the reason i dont mention names is because they havent done a bad job for me personally. Can we leave it at that?0 -

Not that it matters really, but I thought the post was reasonable and in no way spam. Just my view.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -

Yes of course and I apologuise, it's just that there are so many people who come here purely to promote their own business, the fact that you didn't print your co details rules that out with hindsight.
But I still believe in naming and shaming:rotfl:;)
And then also/maybe I could suggest that you apologuise for saying my advise was incorrect, when infact it was simply anecdotial?I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
There is an inherent problem naming and shaming anyone once you have declared you are in the industry and posting on a forum of this nature.
Mainly, anything posted is going to come across as sour grapes or an attempt to put down your perceived opposition.
There are a number of granite firms named on this forum, some in this thread that I would love to publicly tell people not to touch with a barge pole, but I can't because I have a perceived vested interest.0 -

Hi everyone - fantastic thread.
I'm in SE London and looking for an affordable but reputable supplier of quartz worktops. Any recommendations?
Thanks0 -
Sorry to sound a bit stupid but some of my quotes for granite price for sealing and polishing . Does the sealing stop it from absorbing liquids that might stain ?0
