We have a Mazda Bongo AFT. We have kept her as a 8 seater so she has use when not on holiday. For holidays we lay the back 6 seats down (our double bed) and lift the electric roof which provides a childs double bed with tent. We then add an awning to the side for living in. Ours cost £6k

They are sold by japanese import garages like http://www.themazdabongocompany.co.uk/

Others take some seats out and camperise their Bongo more. They tend to cost upwards of £6k depending on level of camper equipment fitted.

    Look at www.devoncampers.co.uk

Costs of running : normal vehicle running costs and about 28mpg. For help with problems we joined the website Bongofury club. www.bongofury.co.uk They also run rallies.

Whilst I would love a posh motorhome we just cannot afford one. This ticks all boxes as we use it for big family shops and carting stuff to the tip as well. A true multiuse vehicle.
