    Sorry i've not replied sooner, i'm just getting the list together now so i'll pm it to whoever requested.

    Most of the places we stay are in the south: Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire. Also alot of hippy places, stone circles, lay lines etc.

    You're never too old. My folks (also in their 60's) hit the solstice every year AND last year we met a fabulous couple in their 70's at their first solstice. They had a top time and we got their email. Hopefully we'll see them this year.

    Ok, this is our NUG, or The Nugginator as is affectionatly known. Its a converted 408D Merc, previously used for the Ruddock racing people. We've now gone pretty posh for us, because this one actually has an inbuilt toilet and shower!!

    It runs like a truck and has a night heater so we can go camping in all weathers, our mates hitch their tents under the awning if its persisting down lol :D

    If it has worked...both were taken in Scotland last summer...the hairy thing is my other half!

    I don't have any pictures of the inside - if I find one on the other computer I will post it later.

    I'm jealous because you both have cupboards and things, we have to take a tent to empty all of our bags and boxes of things into so that we can slleep in the bed!

    PS Have you got names for yours? Ours is called Bungle!

    Our last converted van was a Renault Traffic called The Paddy Wagon, the one before was called The Golden Retriever and our latest is NUG or The Nugginator.

    Our next project is a coach. Our mate is part way through converting his double decker - i'm so jealous :drool: Our other mate has an original ambulance.

    Only problem with having converted vehicals is that some camp sites are very prejudiced against you and won't let you on. Saying that, we've never tried to stay on a campsite lol.
